Can you trust Janet?
Hell to the no.
"I appreciate the offer, but I'm not letting Miri out of my sight today."
I removed Janet's hand from Miriam's arm and guided her away from the disappointed group.
Miriam gave me a confused look as we entered the bathroom. "Aren't those your friends? They seemed nice enough, even though they were as handsy as the boys. And it's gross in here."
"Are you saying I should have left you with them? Stupid little thing. You think they wouldn't try to steal you because they're my friends? That they can empathize with you because you're female like them? You're not a human being Miri, you're a doll with a personality. Maybe they'd keep you for themselves, maybe they'd sell you to some sadist who'll use you for all the things he can't get away with doing to a real person. You don't know."
Miriam stared at me in disbelief. "Jesus, Josh. It can't be that bad out there."
"Oh yeah? Some of the guys already tried to buy you. You think your ex wouldn't pay to get you back?"
That shut her up, and she looked down meekly and let herself be pulled into a stall. "Now let me pee already. Do your business too if you have to, then we have to get to my last class. After that we can go somewhere more fun."
Do you make it to the end of class without incident? Where do you take Miriam?

Termination of Rights and Personhood (TRAP) *Now Public*
Pick a group to TRAP, choose a character, explore the new world order
At some point in the progression of human history, we became fundamentally good and fair. Just, and kind. Everything was perfect. Or at least, it should have been. Somehow, things didn't work out as well as hoped. Fate loves to play her games, after all. One day, the rules just changed. There was no rhyme or reason for it. Everyone just accepted the new way of things without question.
