Hear Alice's story.

"Elok Daven is... was... I am uncertain if he still lives. He was an elven mage, and excelled at inventing all manner of magical machinery. I am aware that his actions were not so good. I know of the golem that wreaked havoc. When he made me, I was only functional for fifty-nine hours before being put to sleep, so I have no idea what my purpose is. Was I also made to destroy, do you think?"

"I can't answer that," you explain. "But it doesn't matter what you were made for, in my opinion. I wasn't made for something."

"I see. I did not think about it that way. I only know what it is like to be me."

"Does that mean you've never met anyone else?"

"That is correct. I was born with preset knowledge, yet I have never ventured outside until the day you and the others arrived. I am not normal, correct?"

"You'll certainly not see other people like you casually walking around."

"I see. I hope I am not intruding."

"Of course not. Hey. How about I share a secret with you? I've already told Niki, Amara, and Eva this, but you might be the one most likely to not think I'm insane when I say it. I'm actually not from around here. I have no idea how it happened, but I was suddenly brought to this world from another. One without magic, and it's quite a bit different."

"Can you face me towards you?"

You pivot her head around.

"N-Not towards your--I mean lift me up to face you."

"Oh. Right." You bring the head up to make eye contact with the girl. "It's heavy."

"That is quite rude to say something like that, but I believe you, Kyle. In fact, my creator once muttered something about other worlds while I was conscious."

"Seriously?!"

"Yes. He spoke of how it was theoretically possible, and how he wanted to open a gateway. Though for we know, he may not still live, or perhaps he is in prison for his crimes."

"So he never succeeded, I guess."

"To my knowledge, he never even began." Alice reaches over and grabs her head, and without much struggle, pops it onto her body. "I am sorry if that disappoints you."

"No. It's probably for the best. A guy like that on Earth would probably cause some problems... or just get shot right away. Guns are kinda overpowered. Anyway, I should really check out on Delphi too. It was good chatting with you."

"Yes. Thank you for coming here. I will speak with you soon."
