Heading to the Party

The cab driver looks in the mirror seeing Melissa dressed up nicely. "Going to party?" He asks seeing Melissa pulling out her phone out of habit, even if she has no one to text.

Melissa: "Yeah, this big college party. Should be super fun!"

Cab driver: A little bit early for a party isn't it? Most people are just starting to think about dinner time now."

Melissa: "Oh please, it's never too early to party!"

Melissa giggles and feels excited now as the taxi driver zooms across town. He seems to be making great time to as there doesn't seem to be much traffic. About 10 minutes later, the cab pulls onto the main street with all the frat houses. "It's this one right here." Melissa says pointing to the large brick building. It's a huge building and probably could host 50 people living inside.

"Thank you." Melissa says handing the taxi driver some money as she grabs her purse and marches up towards the frat house. It's fairly quiet and Melissa knows she's the first one there at the party. But at least she's not stuck at home with Greg! Melissa rings the doorbell to the house and waits patiently. Melissa is feeling nothing but fear, nervously, adrenaline, and excitement.
