Heading in

The Lamias were far enough ahead of you. You quietly entered the cave, canvassing the ground and walls as carefully as you could. You could risk lighting the end of your staff now, but there was still light leaking into the mouth of the tunnel. You ventured forth, the already dim light waning as you continued your journey into the cave. There were faint whisperings in the tunnels ahead of you, signaling the beginning of this encounter.

The tunnel abruptly ended and exploded into a stadium-esque hall. A group of 7 lamias huddled around a crude table hewn from the cave itself.

They haven't noticed you yet... you begin to charge your staff with an Arcane bolt, hoping to incapacitate at least one lamia before having to fight seriously. Your staff begins to hum faintly, and one of the lamias perks her head and begins to look around, spotting you almost instantly. You've been caught...
