And, if you could convince him to let you stay, you could avoid your parents until you change back… because picking up your sex-changed friend who's stranded and then hiding them in your house for a few days are what friends are for! You stand up, dust yourself off, and prepare to walk back in the station: You have no idea what happened earlier with the clerk, but you’re on a mission now. Just need to focus and you’ll be fine.
