He looked into her eyes, soldiering on. "So, do you forgive me for being so sucked up into work?"

She rolled her eyes. "Maaaybe. You've spent pretty much all week with me -- you're the best."

"Yeah, well, Ethan wasn't too happy, but I guess we all make sacrifices. Tomorrow is my last day for paid time off, though."

"Yeah. Me too." She sighed sadly. "We're still going on that double date though, right?"

"Of course! I think Zoey was hammering out some details or something, but hasn't really talked to me about it." He lied. They had thought all of it out meticulously.

"I hope she messages you soon. They wanted to eat at that really fancy place like two hours away, right? Um... M'aison De L'amour or something?"

"Hey, all I know is is that she promised to foot the bill. I think she's rich or something. No idea why she works at that bookstore."

"Maybe she gets lonely being so rich. I mean I made a lot of my friends at work, and I don't know if she's all too popular at college or so, but maybe it's for that?"

He shrugged. "No idea. I'll probably message her about the whole plan later. After our movie, of course."

"Yay! Movies with Tyler!" She clapped and hugged onto him as he turned on the TV.
