You open your eyes when the doors to the throne room burst open. It's the dark lord. You can not sense nor see what kind of mood he is in with that god damn helmet on his head.

"You found me quicker than expected"

"Of course I did, this is MY castle. It is made up of my magics. I have eyes and ears everywhere."

"I have noticed something about that. I am also made of your magic."

"Yes, you are. Which mea-"

"Which means I also have eyes and ears everywhere." You cut off the dark lord.

"DO NOT INTERRUPT ME AGAIN!" the dark lord roars, causing the ground to quake in fear.

But you remain unphased. If the dark lord was just going to throw away something with as much raw potential as you over something so small, then he really isn't as smart or cunning as you suspect.

"Fine, it won't happen again." you say with disdain on your tongue.

"It better not. Now tell me, why are you here and why are you in MY throne?"

"That annoying little shit was getting on my nerves, and as for the throne, I just wanted a comfy chair. The floor is so dirty in here, don't you ever clean?"

This time you can see the dark lord getting angry and you are smarter than to think you can withstand a beating from this monster.

"Ok, look. We both know you could kill me whenever or however you wanted to. But we both also know that right now I am more useful to you alive than dead. I have your magika flowing through me, I see what the minions of this castle are like. They are moronic. I also know of all your past experiments that have failed. None of them has the potential that I do."

The dark lord just looks at you without saying a word.

"So we agree, you don't want me dead just yet. I am willing to serve you, call you lord and master. Carry out your bidding, be it training morons to read, sweeping a floor or going down to the human land and razing it to the ground."

The dark lord seems to relax a little and turns to walk out of the throne room, beckoning you to follow.

A smile forms on your lips and your sharp grinning fangs come to light.
