Kevin decided to risk it and lightly placed his hand on her shoulder. Thankfully she didn’t turn on him, in fact, it seemed to calm her down a little. Kalena looked up a Kevin with her lovely sad amber eyes which made Kevin blush a little. “It’s alright,” he said softly, “You’re not alone anymore.”

Kalena’s eyes started to well up before she flung her arms around his body and hugged him tightly as she cried into his chest. All Kevin could do was hug her back and hold her close as she slowly started to calm down. Eventually, her crying did stop and she slowly pulled away from his chest. She kept her hands on his shoulders as she looked up at him with her sad reddening eyes. “Sorry,” she said softly.

Kevin was really trying to resist the urge to kiss her right now. He didn’t believe in love at first sight but this girl was starting to make a believer out of him. She looked so sad and adorable, it made him want to hold her close and never let her go. At the same time, she was also incredibly venerable right now. She had been alone on this island for who knows how long and now a young man had just washed up on her shore. He could probably do anything he wanted with her and get away with it, hell she would most likely let him do it to her.

As Kevin tried to think of what to do with the lovely girl in his arm he suddenly realized that his lips were drawing closer to hers. He paused for a moment only to find that Kalena’s lips were doing the same.
