Have a bit of fun

With Anna still frozen in place, you decide to walk around a bit and see just how get you can push the limits. You toss your comforter off the bed, only to see it freeze in midair the second it leaves your grasp. You walk to the doorway, squeeze past Anna and head to the kitchen yourself. You consider pouring yourself a glass of water, but then you get a wicked idea.

You carefully flip over chairs, stack books, balance glasses. You spend what feels like hours arranging everything in the apartment differently from what it was - but of course you can't be sure how long it's been. Anna still stands in your doorway, ready to bring you a glass of water. Occasionally, you catch a glimpse of her and laugh to yourself. Eventually, you feel your work is finished, and return to bed. With one last movement, you pull the floating sheet back over your body and press the button on your watch again. Anna walks into the kitchen and you hear a startled yelp.

You run after her in feigned concern, and she her staring dumbfounded at the sights around the apartment. The table is on it's side, with water glasses balanced on it. The chairs are in a pyramid, each one draped with towels. The coup de grâce is a house of cards made of Anna's college textbooks.

Anna looks up at you, clearly struggling with what to say. You sneakily put your hands behind your back and press the button again. You consider what to do next and another wicked idea creeps into your head. It takes time, but you put everything back to the way it was. By this point, you know that you've spent nearly twice as long remembering the layout, but you're so giddy you don't mind at all. You're finally confident that everything is exactly the way it should be, you rush back to where you were standing, and press the button.

"Everything is -" she looks around, aghast, as you stand with a smug grin. She begins to look around, as if unsure what she's seeing is real.

"Everything is what?"

"I think I need to lie down."
