Harry

Harry Potter sat in a state of bewilderment. Staring at nothing in particular as he tried to process what all had happened. He had won. It had been almost a day and still it had not sunk in. He had won. He was still trying to wrap his head around it.

He had fought Voldemort and his **** Eaters and he had won. He and his friends had won despite being out numbered, under educated and under powered. All his friends had survived, they were wounded but they had all survived. The same couldn't be said of Voldemort's side, his people had been wiped out almost completely. Harry had the vivid memory of Neville screaming joyously in victory as he had done in one Lestrange brother. **** for what the Lestrange's had done to Neville's father in the last war.

The shadow that had been hanging over his life these past few years was gone. The threat of Voldemort and his militant blood purists in positions of governmental power? Either Dead or trying to cut a deal with the DMLE and throwing one another under the bus to avoid Azkaban. He had a future that wasn't going to be just **** and blood and fighting evil wizards and witches.

Was hope supposed to feel this nervous? Like he was being low key electrocuted. There was just this weird feeling flowing through him, building in him making him jittery. It would be nice if there was something that could occupy him but he found his attention wandering every few seconds, reliving what had happened, reliving vanquishing Voldemort.

Shaking himself to break himself out of his musing Harry was surprised to see that his little elf friend Dobby was standing next to him. "Dobby? I'm sorry. I hope I wasn't ignoring you. I've just... I've had a lot on my mind."

"Harry Potter is too kind to Dobby." Dobby looking up at him.

"Dobby, uh" Harry stopped and tried to remember if telling Dobby not to be Dobby had ever actually worked. "It's good to see you Dobby. How have you been?"

Dobby smiled, "Dobby is well. Dobby is well. Is Harry Potter well?"

Harry opened his mouth and found he wasn't sure of the answer. "Um, I'm alive. And I'm... I've got a lot of nervous energy."

"Is magic." Dobby nodded his head knowingly, "Harry Potter is having more magic. Magic is giving Harry Potter all the bad men's magic gave them."

"What?" Harry asked blinking in surprise at his little friend. "I what?"

Dobby paced in a small circle in front of Harry, "Harry Potter fought for all is good and right and Magic gave Harry Potter everything magic gave bad wizards and witches. Magic recognize fight is like wizards duel and give winner reward. Every bad wizard Harry Potter fought, Harry Potter got what magic gave the bad wizard."

Harry once again was staring blankly. He had heard of Wizarding duels. Draco Malfoy had challenged him to one once, back in first year. And the little shit had never showed up. Harry wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing as he had no idea that losing your magic was the cost of losing the duel.

"So that's why I feel so..." Harry held up a hand and showed how badly it was shaking, "energized?"

"Harry Potter get used to more magic. Next week Harry Potter be used to new magic." Dobby nodded and then waited a bit before mentioning, "Harry Potter spend more time getting used to new family."

"New Family?" Harry asked.

"Harry Potter wins everything magic gives bad people, means magic and families and everything they has. Harry Potter wins Slytherin. Harry Potter wins Malfoy. Harry Potter wins LeStrange. Crabbe. Goyle. Yaxley. Every bad wizard's things is now Harry Potter's things. Harry Potter has many houses and farms and businesses. Harry Potter gets wives and children now too."

"WHAT?" Harry shouted standing up only to find he lacked the balance and fell back on his bed.

"Magic make brides ready for Harry Potter. New head of family need make new heirs." Dobby looked away, "Unless Harry Potter wants old heirs like Draco Malfoy be his heirs."

"Draco?" Harry recoiled himself at the idea. "But... wives?"

"Slytherin not have wives. Crabbe. Dead wives. Goyle. Dead wives. Yaxley. No wives."

"So... Malfoy and Lestrange?" harry shuddered, "Bellatrix?"

"Dobby heard she injured in fight and not same since."

"We did drop a shelf full of time turners on her. I'm surprised she's not dead." Harry looked at Dobby, "What does it mean magic makes them 'ready'?"

"Magic makes them ready." Dobby answered. "Makes them ready for you, makes them a woman you want to make babies with. If woman is not able to have babies magic gives woman what she needs so you can make babies with her." Dobby looked away, "Old bad master used to change women he finds, make bodies change for his urges. Magic make changes like that."

"Magic..." Harry sighed. He was reminded of something he'd heard when he'd first gotten his wand, something that explained how he felt. "Great but terrible things indeed."

Looking around the room Dumbledore had confined him to he was suddenly aware he had spent almost a day wasting time in this room doing nothing. And learning what he had just learned he couldn't afford to just spend his time here doing nothing while Dumbledore did who knows what. It was a few hours to dinner so he had some time left to accomplish something. "Dobby, can you get me out of here? I've got to... I've got to do something. Talk to Sirius or something."

"See wives?"

Harry whimpered, "Merlin, I think I have to."
