Hanging out with the local girls
"Natalie, you really seem lonely lately, and its been troubling me," your mother says.
"I suppose I should have expected that it would be difficult to adjust to all these changes. But regardless, I've gone ahead and talked to some of the other mothers in the neighborhood with girls your age, and made arrangements for you to hang out with some of them."
"Mom, I don't know about that..."
"Oh hush Natalie. You are going to have a lot of fun, and maybe you will even meet some girls who are going to attend the same college as you in the fall, you guys could end up being good friends."
Your mother continues, "Anyways, you've been invited to a little get together this afternoon, the girl who is hosting is named Abby, and I've also spoken to the mother of another girl, Callie, who will also be there. Abby's family has a pool as well, so we will need to buy you a swimsuit before I drop you off."
