Half a year

The “Out of body rehabilitation program” is an experimental program with the intention to reintegrate inmates back into society by switching their bodies with a volunteer. The volunteer has the freedom to choose for how long they want to donate their body. As for their safety, a tracker and kill switch will be implemented to forcefully switch them back at any point in time either when the inmate goes out of bounds or when the volunteer wants it so.

Following the detective into to the visitor ward, Katie was seated in front of Sonya and was allowed to talk with her under constant observation. The purpose for this was for Sonya to decide for how long she was comfortable with volunteering her body to Katie as a sort of final interview.

"Hi, my name is Sonya Doe", she reached out her hand and put on a fat smile, "It's such a pleasure to finally meet you"

Katie shook her hand and returned her smile with a fat smile of her own

"Oh it's my pleasure, Mrs.Doe. My name is Katie Marks and I am so glad that such a pretty and good hearted saint like you decided to volunteer her gorgeous body to me. I must be truly blessed"

"Oh my, you flatten me", she blushed and shared a good laugh with her.

Katie had enough experience to know what to say to get what she wanted. Sonya Doe was an easy target for her. While they were talking, Katie had figured out how Sonya reacts and really pushed her buttons. She stroked her ego, complimented her on her appearance and thanked her for her generosity every time she got the chance to. Katie only had one goal in mind. She wanted to buy as much time as possible and she didn't care how far she had to crawl up Sonya's ass. Her age and appearance helped a lot for that reason. What's the worst an old, frail woman could possibly do after all.

The two were talking and talking for what seemed to be hours. They were getting along so well in fact, one could confuse them for long time friends. Giggling and laughing like teenage girls, Sonya was putty in Katie's hand.

"I don't know, Katie. 6 months is quite a long time and don't get me wrong I like you, and you seem to be a very friendly lady, but I have a family and I am not sure if they would be okay with their mom being gone for 6 months"

Sonya was concerned and raised a good point. Initially, Sonya was willing to volunteer her body for only 2 weeks but Katie had managed to extend it big time. She was so close to getting half a year. She couldn't let an opportunity like this slip away so she had to think of something good quickly.

"You know, Mrs.Doe, I know what it feels like to be a mother. You have a family to take care of and children to look out for. That's why you have such a big heart"

Katie observed her body language carefully and was pleased when she saw Sonya's eyes lit up.

She grabbed her chest and continued in a softer tone, "I had a family of my own. I had a beautiful daughter and she has a wonderful son. Because of my mistakes however, I never got the chance to be a good mother to them"

Sonya wavers, obviously impacted by this tearjerker story. To really push her over the edge, Katie started to tear up.

"Mrs.Doe, you've already given me so much with this opportunity but..."

"It's okay, Katie. You don't have to say anything else. I understand", she interrupted her and reached out to hug the old Katie.

"You are a good person, Katie"

Her plan worked perfectly. She completely fooled the air head, Sonya, but she had to focus. She may be out of prison now but she had to plan out carefully what she was going to do from now on.

Her next obstacle will be the first contact with Sonya's family.
