Half-Beast

The Half-Beast are the most in-tune with their instincts and second only to the Elementals win it comes to their knowledge of nature and its bounty. Many Half-Beast develop traits based on the animal that they most resemble most of these traits are beneficial when it comes to survival, however it is not uncommon for them to also develop negative traits (Example: Neko or Cat-kin tend to be lazy especially on warm days, Naga or Snake-kin are not truly cold-blooded but do get sluggish in cold weather and may enter a state of hibernation that resembles **** if they stay in the cold for to long) Half-Beast can range from Nearly Norm resembling humans or elves showing little sign of their animal heritage with most nearly norm being able to shift into a Beast Form, Wild Man who have aspects of their animal nature often appearing with the tails, ears, wings, and eyes of their animal type, Beast Form who resemble a mix between man and beast, and then there is the Taur Breed who have the lower half of an animal and the upper half of a Norm.

There is no single ruler who oversees the Half-Breast Tribe rather they are ruled over by a council of elders who resides within the Terraketti Forest a land that unlike the other kingdoms shows no signs of residency or civilization the one truly outstanding feature being the trees that have grown to dwarf mountains in both size and width. The council of elders was formed so that each category of Half-Beast could have a say in their tribes society, the main leaders are based on the sub-category of Canine, Feline, Bovine, Equidae, Reptilian, Insectoid and Avian.

The Canine elder is Jakuin Catulus, he often handles diplomacy between the Half-Beast and Norms do to the fact that Jakuin is a Half-Beast who looks like a muscular human male with a bushy beard, golden eyes, peppered brown hair, standing at 6'5, of course he wouldn't be a Half-Beast if that was all Jakuin is able to shift into a the form of a large wolf man growing to a towering 8'9" covered in peppered brown fur, with claws that could tare through wood like it was wet paper.

The Feline elder is Frena Puer, the other members of the council don't really know how she got chosen for the position considering she sleeps during most meetings and never actually campaigned Jakuin believes that Frena lost a bet or pulled the shortest stick among the other feline. Frena could definitely pass for a Norm if not for her cat like tail, ears, and eyes, her feline parts resembling that of a siamese with icy blue eyes. Frena is a petite girl with shoulder length brown hair, standing at 4'9".

The Bovine elder is Boris Asterion, an intimidatingly large man standing at 10'6" and built like a brick house, Boris is a Minotaur with a head resembling a white bull with silver ornaments decorating his horns, Boris doesn't often speak during counsel meetings choosing instead to listen to the other members talk of course this could be out of wisdom or simply out of boredom seeing as most other Minotaur prefer testing their strength or traveling.

The Equidae elder is Andro Cornus, one of the wisest members of the council Andro is a centaur his upper half resembling a lean man in his mid twenties with black hair and intelligent hazel eyes, and his lower half being that of a chestnut coated Clydesdale. Andro keeps records of all the meeting that have occurred between the council and other tribes and can often be found in the libraries that hide within the hollowed out trees of the Terraketti Forest.

The Reptilian elder is Ssissanda, a gorgon with head of cobras for hair, and the lower half of her body resembling the cobra's tail. Ssissandra often speaks of change and refreshing the society that the Half-Beast live in much like the snake shedding its skin she believes its smart for their people to make changes every now and then without completely moving away from what was already their.

The Avian elder is Avida Hark, a "royal" harpy and when she's not to busy grooming her snow white feathers she will often speak up on behalf of the avians with ways to improve their lives and of course she would never want to "ruffle anyone's feathers" but if the avians could expand their territory just a tad bit into the insectoid territory it would certainly be an improvement, needless to say Avida only has three main concerns herself, her agenda and her group.

The Insectoid elder is Lavandra VII, a twenty year old bee-kin who has only recently taken up the mantle of elder after her mother Lavandra VI passed. Lavandra VII was trained from the moment she was born to be the perfect leader for her people and plans to make them proud of course this can lead her to be naive, but if there was one thing her mother taught her before her passing it was to NEVER allow Avida to take the lands of their people.
