You look in Nan's face. "You have a spare bed?" you ask.
Nan's cheeks are flushed pink, clear in her pale skin. "We won't need one," she says.
"Oh," you say. You flash on Nan leading the orgiastic rite, summoning magic powered by desire and pleasure.
"Come," she says, taking your hand.
"To your bed?" you say.
"Yes," says Nan.
"Yes," you say.
You walk hand in hand with Nan through the dim corridors of House Beavertail's underground.
