Groan at the recurring problem

“Not again” Anna groaned. This was the third time in a row she’d wet the bed, at this point it was becoming a problem she couldn’t afford to ignore any more. After peeling the uncomfortable wet pajamas off of her she took the time to enjoy a long soak in the tub as she tried not to think about her ever-frequent accidents. But it was pretty difficult when she walked back to not her room in a towel as the servants stripped the sheets and blankets from her bed. The princess blushed a deep shade of red and apologized profusely to the servants as they hauled away the smelly yellowed bedding.

After getting dressed for the day Anna made her way to the dining room where she and her sister Elsa had breakfast every morning. The meal was relatively quiet as the awkward topic hung in the air. After a few moments of nothing but the sounds of silverware on dishes the queen broke the silence.

“So I... take it those herbs you tried didn’t do the trick did they?” Her younger sister gave a shy head shake of no in response “so you still had one of your...accidents?”

“Y-yes... yes I did” Anna mumbled, her blush fully returned “nothing seems to be working, I’m not sure what to do”

“Well, there is one more thing we could try” Elsa offered

“Really!? What is it?” Anna perked up at this new option, her hope suddenly restored

“It’s not exactly a final solution. But it would help with the sheets problem if you wore some protection to bed”

“Protection?” The princess asked nervously, not wanting to believe what her sister was saying

“I mean that we can probably get you some incontinence briefs until we know what to do”

“Diapers!? Elsa, I am not a baby” Anna protested as she good to her feet in indignation

“I know you’re not” Elsa tried to calm her sister down “I just think that it would be easier on the laundry staff if they didn’t have to wash your sheets every day”

“But it’s humiliating” Anna protested

“Just try it for one night” the Queen offered “one night and if you still don’t want to you don’t have to anymore and we’ll try something else. Deal?”

Anna was silent for a moment, her lip trembling just a little bit before she finally answered “fine” before walking out of the dining room blushing “I have to go meet up with Kristoff”

Elsa felt terrible, she knew this was the best option they had at the moment but she didn’t want her little sister to feel humiliated. There had to be something she could do to make Anna feel better
