Authors note: This takes place in the same world as my main branch, and starts just prior to the beginning of that story. There may be some crossover at some point. This will not be updated as frequently as my main story, however. It’s mainly something I’ll work on when I need time to plan more for the main branch. Thanks!

As you fill out the forms, you think about your life to this point. Your life hasn’t been terrible, there’s no great secret egging you on. You grew up in a decent family, and you were always told you were smart and you had a bright future. You went to college, did reasonably well, and graduated. Like many people, your degree didn’t land you a job, but you were never afraid of getting your hands dirty, so you fell into a series of blue collar jobs. Assembly work, factory jobs, even a bit of mechanic work. You always worked hard, always got praised for your work, and never advanced beyond the shop floor. Average, but not exceptional.

The same could be said for your love life. You dated, had some flings, never really settled down. You had a few serious relationships, but eventually you would drift apart and break up. Rarely was there any big drama, but you often heard things like ‘I need some excitement in my life.’, and then you find yourself alone again.

You’re hardly a stunner, but you’re not ugly either. Years of physical labor has left you strong and in relatively good shape, though no one would mistake you for a gym rat. You spent your free time with an equal measure of sports and video games.

In the end, your life is average. Boring. Going nowhere. Then you stumbled on the corner of the internet talking about this fantasy world. You read stories about people ‘sponsoring’ monster girls. The stories and pictures piqued your interest, but you felt that you were in no position to guide someone through learning to exist in this world. However, the more you read about starting over in a fantastical realm of magic and monsters, the more it appeals to you.

And now here you are, applying to do exactly that. A chance to start over, and become something other than just an average guy grinding through life.
