Gratitude

When she first sees your face looming over hers, she gasps and sits up. Her hands then go immediately to her wounds and she is even more shocked to find herself healed. You give her room and see how she reacts.

She looks at you with gratitude in her eyes and begins speaking rapid words in some incomprehensible language and gesturing wildly.

"I don't understand what you're saying." You keep repeating, but she just keeps talking. After a few minutes, you give up and walk outside to your camp. Gena finally stops talking, and looks around the camp.

You wish you still had your universal translator, but it was destroyed in the crash. On a whim you check your fabricator. You look at the list of materials and see that you have everything minus one. You look through the alternate materials and are dismayed to find a list of rare materials not likely to be found on this planet. You keep scrolling until you find one you don't recognize. You tap it and see that it is a material that you have scanned here on this planet!

You look up the location, and it gives you an answer: the beast you killed yesterday has a gland that would be a suitable replacement. You decide to make the trip to retrieve the gland.
