Gracious offerings

Spike may be seen as the hero of the crystal empire, but Princess Cadence is still praised for her part in saving the crystal ponies along with being loved as their kind and gentle ruler. Naturally the gifts start rolling in fast, and many of them are edible. Cadence tries to not to indulge herself in the abundance of food, but the thought of wasting any of her subjects gifts is too much and so gets to chomping. Seeing that their princess is loving the gifts they keep sending them, and yet Cadence still can't say no, even as she gets heavier.
