Gothil Pass

Deep in the Thobal mountain range was a path very few knew about. The Thobal mountains were considered treacherous by all accounts; harpys and griffins having nests at the top, demon-spawn, goblins, and even minotaurs were know to inhabit caves throughout the mountains.

The path was called Gothil Pass, named after the explored that discovered it. It cuts through the most dangerous portions of the Thobal range, but it's also the fastest way to the elven city of Lisillin.

Terrence was halfway through the mountains now, having began the journey early in the morning. Now the sun was creasting the western-most mountain, threatening to shroud the pathway in darkness. Terrence curses himself for forgetting torches.

Seeing a cave up ahead, Terrence made his way there. Knowing that many monsters roamed these mountains, the Mountain unsheathed both swords before walking into the cave.
