Goodbye's Handler Report (Ending #3)

Ciao was deployed as handler for the Goodbye Girls to London, on the trail of Vaarvel and Au Revoir. The two stole a CEDIT Gambit; with their intentions unknown, we assumed them to be our enemies and viewed Ciao's intervention as our only means of stopping their rogue behavior. Unfortunately, events after that aren't much clearer. All we know is that afterward, Vaarvel, Madison, and Ciao all went missing. The only person of interest who we managed to recover was Au Revoir and the whole event is a blur to her. We can only assume someone, possibly Vaarvel, was behind it, but would she have access to the same brainwashing techniques employed by Adder?

Madison's kidnapping has left London temporarily in the hands of a London agent named Francois Port.

With no bodies found, we must assume, for the moment, that they are all alive. Most likely, we'll hear some form of ransom demands in the near future. Could Vaarvel have kidnapped both of them and disappeared out from under the noses of CEDIT London? If anyone could do it, it was her... but why would she? I can only imagine that Madison was her target and Ciao was taken after figuring out her plan. I feel responsible for sending him into that situation with so little preparation, but we had to have him there while we resolved Operation Closed Beta in Washington. I hope that he's still safe. I believe Vaarvel cared for him and I'm fairly certain she wouldn't have killed him.

With Ciao and Vaarvel both missing, and given the events of Operation Closed Beta, the Goodbye Girls are in disarray. I'm hardly qualified to be their leader and we're missing the two candidates best suited for the job. I dearly hope we manage to recover the two missing agents soon and that somehow, someway, Vaarvel is innocent of wrongdoing. A return to normalcy would be dearly appreciated after all of the recent excitement.
