Goes outside to get some

How annoying, she thought to herself, remembering then that she had gone to the supermarket the day before and had picked up a pack of toilet rolls. However, she had no recollection of bringing them into her apartment, so she’d most likely left them in the car since she could find none inside. Seeing as she had already gotten out of the bathtub, she decided that she might as well to go down to her car to retrieve a few rolls before going, as well as saving her the trip the next time. Expecting the simple trip to take no more than a minute or two and feeling a bit lazy, she decided not to take the trouble of putting on in any of her special figure enhancing underwear that she always wore or getting dressed to fetch it. This was something she would never do when going out for fear of being seen by anybody in her true unflattering form. But on this occasion, since no one would be seeing her (or so she thought) dart in and out for only a few minutes, she decided to skip getting dressed. After all, she would have waste extra time to get undressed immediately afterwards to resume enjoying her bath time anyway. Finally, it was still early on a Saturday morning, she didn’t think her neighbours would be up and about at that time to see her.

Slipping on some slippers, and wrapping herself in her towel to avoid the cold from outside, she headed downstairs, leaving her apartment door slightly ajar so she could come back in, and outside the building to her car in the cold mostly empty garage. It was a small underground parking area situated under the building, supported by a few pillars and surrounded by walls at the back. There were only two cars parked there at the time, one of them being Lauren’s. Although the technically underground parking lot was a bit lower than the ground level of the street, it was some distance away from the street, so any cars driving on the street or by anyone walking by on the sidewalk culd see the cars parked there or anybody in the car park. But fortunately at this early hour, few cars would be driving past, and there wouldn’t be many people out and about, save for the odd jogger or dog walker. Lauren quickly made her way to her car, which was parked on the far side, so as to avoid being seen. It was a small old battered up car, that had changed many hands before Lauren bought it. A lavish spender on clothing and other beauty enhancing products, Lauren had mostly neglected her car, had never bothered saving up enough to upgrade to a newer better car, nor did she even have the money to fix the broken door locks, the reason why she didn’t bother bringing her car keys down with her this morning…

Seeing the pack of rolls in the back seat of the car through the window, she went in to retrieve it, but found the large bulky package wedged firmly between the back of the drivers’ seat and rear seats. Being only of a short stature, Lauren would have to climb inside the car to getter better leverage to pull it out. Desperately wanting to quickly get back inside and back to her warm bath, she haphazardly crawled inside the back from the passenger side, grasped the package and yanked hard. Incorrectly judging the **** needed to dislodge the bundle, she pulled too hard and ripped the packaging apart, sending the toilet rolls falling everywhere, while Lauren fell backwards out of the car. Being the clumsy person that she was, somehow also had the misfortune of getting the towel caught in one of the front seat’s rails, and in the process of falling had the towel pulled completely off her. Lauren ended up tumbling out of the car onto the ground, in nothing but her slippers.

Fearing that she’d be seen by passers-by walking by or by her neighbours, she hurriedly scrambled back in the car to retrieve her towel to cover up. She pulled hard at her towel, but it was still firmly stuck, and causing it to tear. Pulling at it any further could rip it even more.

Lucky no one has seen me, Lauren thought to herself, glancing up towards the street to make sure. She quickly got back out and headed for the door back into the building, but found herself having made the classic mistake of locking herself outside. Dammit, I’m going to have to wait till someone comes down and opens the door. And how do I get back in without them seeing me like this?

It was then at that moment that she heard the sound of someone slowly coming closer…

Shit! I have to get out of here! I can’t be seen like this! Lauren thought to herself, panicking.
