Amber, seemingly believing the power of friendship will see them through, forgets to actually give her Charmander any useful commands. "Go fuck 'em up Charmander!"

Charmander doesn't seem to hear her, seeing the butterfly as a much more important foe than the water turtle. It continues to chase it around the battlefield while Squirtle locks on with a terrifying glare.

"Squirtle, follow my commands exactly." Blue says confidently. What followed was the greatest massacre of any Pokemon battle in recorded history. Not only did Charmander not land a single hit, Squirtle actually managed to get Charmander to punch itself. The display of human and Pokemon, so in sync, puts a tear in the eye of the Pokemon Professor. Before Amber had even registered that she was losing, her Charmander was fainted.

"And the winner, by an enormous margin, is Blue!"

Amber feels her whole world shake. She can not believe it. Everything she is, everything she has and represents, belongs to the person she hates most in the world. She failed. She couldn't be the best trainer, she couldn't even command her starter.

She falls to her knees, tears brimming in her eyes. "No, this can't be. I can't let this happen!" she thinks. She sits there, crying harder than a Wailord on a diet, and tries to think of a loop hole. Anything that could possibly save her life, her goals and her virginity.

"I will go to Officer Jenny and fight this. There has to be some way. There is no way I can be his ****."

This thought, giving her new hope, sparks the strength to act. As she sits on her knees, hands to her face, she decides that if she is going to do anything it would be right there and now. Slowly she removes her hands, lifts her face, and opens her eyes, ready to look for any source of salvation.
