God Needs To Lend A Helping Hand

Right as he feels himself leave his old world and enter the new Michael finds his vision swimming.

Reds become blues, up and down switch with left and right, and his insides are jumbled up. There's static in his ears and his body can't decide if its hot or cold.

As quick as the feeling comes its gone. Michael can only dry heave on a now hardwood floor with tears in his eyes.

'What the fuck was that?!'

"That was Gaia saying hello."

Hearing the calm voice Michael's head shoots up to see an old man. He has a pure white beard reaching down to his chest, blue eyes and a bald head. He's currently wearing a fancy looking white suit and dress shoes with a simple cane held in his left hand.

Recognizing the voice the newly made dimension hopper asks "God?"

"Yes. It's me. And before you ask no Gaia was not trying to erase you. She was simply giving you a taste of what it feels like to be erased by her." God intercedes. "I didn't think you'd jump head first into such a dangerous universe so soon but I suppose even I can be surprised every now and again."

"Hold it didn't you say I was all powerful?!"

"Yes."

"Then how did Gaia nearly take me out?!"

God rolled his eyes boredly, "I told you. Gaia wasn't trying to kill you. Think of it as an older sibling playing a prank on their younger sibling."

"That's a fucked up prank." Michael deadpanned.

"One: this is the Nasuverse. Get used to it. Two: you'll understand when you're older." God waved dismissively.

Looking around himself Michael see he's in a parlor. Everything looks lavish from the mahogany furniture to the various paintings on the wall. There was even a fully stocked bar. Outside it was night with what looked like a thick snow storm.

"Just where are we right now?"

God answered casually, "We're in your mansion on Antarctica."

"My what and where?!"

After repeating himself God took a seat in one of the chairs to explain Michael stumbling after him to sit across from him.

"As you're aware this universe operates fundamentally on the multiverse theory. In this one there's no need for Chaldea to exist so I took the liberty of setting up your main base of operations here. Everything from luxury to necessity is here for you."

"Wait I thought I was pretty much on my own."

"You are however you can think of this as a starter kit. I'm just setting you up with a home base. Among a few other things should you choose to accept them." With a wave of his hand the door to the parlor opens with a multi colored gate opening up. "By all means if you're dissatisfied walk right out and choose a different part of this universe to go to."

"Whoa whoa whoa! I didn't say all that!" Michael waved his hands. "Just trying to get the picture here. That's all." A free 5 star luxury home isolated from the rest of the world? He wasn't gonna turn that down! Considering he could freely teleport wherever he wanted travel wouldn't be an issue.

Though the idea of enjoying being chauffeured in limos, first class cruises and flights still held an appeal.

"Well then," God closed to door and continued, "With that out of the way shall we continue?"
