Chapter 3 by kresreb kresreb

How does Rudi react?

Gobsmacked, but eager.

"Yea--" Rudi stumbled over his words, "Yes, I am. Have we met?"

"I don't believe we have, cutie," Her plan worked like a charm, "But the owner told me about her regulars. Apple Cinnamon, right?"

Rudi took a deep breath and stepped up to the counter. "Are you new in town? I've never seen you before"

The young hunk was hooked. Mrs. Montanari bent down to get the muffin from the bottom most rack, making sure her cleavage was on display. The little charm from the herbalist did some pretty wonderful things. It's illusions were more than visual trickery, her body was younger, fuller, tighter. Her arms would tighten up and lose their extra weight, her breasts would firm up and rise back to where they were decades before. Against all logic, her underwear and clothing would somehow transform to help these new proportions in line. The visible varicose viens in her legs would disappear, and her calves would slim up to her high school standards. She had no idea how the charm worked, but she hoped that the illusion would work as well for others as it did for her.

"I'm just visiting," She said, ringing up the muffin on the cash register. "In town for the summer at my Aunt's house. Helping her around the shop."

"I thought you looked familiar," The boy said leaning towards her, "Need any help seeing the sights in town?"

Rudi couldn't believe how beautiful this girl was. She looked so much like Mrs. Montanari he was surprised she wasn't her daughter, let alone a niece. He didn't care if he was being forward, she seemed into him, so he pushed his luck.

"You know, I'm about to close up shop." She grinned, writing her 'Aunt's' number on the receipt. "You want to show a girl around? The name's Alice."

"Nice to meet you Alice." He said, looking at the number she'd just given him. "7 o'clock?"

"It's a date," The older woman said, "You know where my Aunt's house is?" She knew that he knew, but had to play dumb to keep the charade.

"Yep, I live down the street." he said, winking a little too hard at her.

Mrs. Montanari giggled in anticipation as though she were actually 18 and going on her first date. She watched the boy turn to leave the shop with an extra pep in his step, but had to remind him to grab the muffin he came for. Hook, line, and sinker.

Skip to the Date, or follow Mrs. Montanari as she sets up for the date?
