Go to the store.

Taking a moment to get your bearings on where you are, you make your way to the store where you got the boots. It should still be open for another hour or so if you are correct. Going across town you can’t resist and put the top down to feel the wind in your hair as you race down the street. Once you get to the store you see your fears may be right, the wreckage of the broken front window and the police tape marking this as a crime scene. You see a young woman dressed in black, the goth chic you saw earlier. “Excuse me, excuse me, can you tell me what happened here? I heard a friend of mine got hurt here earlier and I wanted to find out what happened.”

She looked at you with surprise and flashed you a little wicked smile. “Wow, I see the spell I cast worked.”

“What, what do you mean?”

“You are still alive, and really hot.”

“How do you know me?”

“Your aura silly, I can see you are still the nice confused soul I saw earlier in the store. When you walked in front of me and he shot you instead of me I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and I gave a prayer to the great mother goddess to save you. But when you died I feared the worst. I see you found another body that became vacant before its time. I am so happy that you got out ok, and in such a sexy new body.”

“You mean? Are you serious, so I am going to be Alexis forever? Is there any way to change me back, what am I going to tell my family?”

“I am sorry about that, but at least you are alive and well. As for your family I guess that is for you to decide what to do, they obviously think you are dead. Do you remember any of your new bodies life? Do you know where you live? I feel like I owe you my life also, so if I can do anything to help just ask.”

The shock of the truth simply becomes to much as your new reality comes crashing down on you. The world seems to haze out of focus and you silently feint, and slump into darkness. As you fade to black you feel strong soft hands grab you before you hit the ground. After an unknown time of darkness you wake up.
