Go to the public baths

You decide that you need to take some time to just relax today. You have been spending a lot of time practising spells lately under the tutelage of a minor God calling himself “The Traveller”. He’s great fun to play around with, but you often end the day feeling exhausted.

As you stroll along the winding roads and alleys towards the bath house, your mind drifts back to your first encounters with the deity. He was mischievous towards you at first, making you jump with loud noises or hiding your things around the house, but gradually you befriended him and he began to teach you some of his favourite pranks and encouraged you to begin playing them on other people. When you grew older, he had asked if you would become a follower of his in exchange for him gifting you with divine magic. You agreed without hesitation and never looked back. The memories bring a smile to your face as you arrive at the front of the bath house.

A small grey-haired female gnome is sitting at the front desk as you enter. It’s been a while since you last came to bathe here, but you remember that they offer either sex-segregated or mixed-sex baths.

“Welcome!” The old woman calls out as you enter. Using her sleeve, she wipes a small amount of condensation from her thick glasses and leans forward slightly to inspect you. “Ah, I recognise you! I believe you came to us some time last Summer, yes? I never foget a face y’know.” She says with a gap-toothed smile.

“We have added a new service since you last came. We now offer expert massages, if you are interested. All our masseuses were even trained by The Ruby of the Sea herself!” She boasts, her chest swelling with pride.

This news piques your interest. You never realised that your Momma taught anyone her techniques outside of the Chateau. Although you are no master, you have learned a few techniques from her yourself and you know they take a long time to perfect.
