Go to dinner.

You go down to dinner. The entire Anderson family is already gathered.

Mr. Anderson says, "Well, hello, Parker. My wife was just telling us she gave you a haircut. It looks very good on you. Have a seat. We're having quail tonight. I think you'll quite like it." You take a seat.

Dinner is served by one of the kitchen staff and it is quite excellent. You are fairly quiet through dinner and listen to them talk. Belinda and Ethan talk about school and it's obvious Belinda is a much better student than Ethan, in fact one of the best in the school, which surprises you. Mr. Anderson tells some boring stories about mountain climbing and traveling and occasionally asks you questions about your life before you came to Rosestead.

Finally, dinner is done and everybody separates. In a strange reversal of the usual order of things, Belinda says she's going to stay in to do her trig homework from Mrs. Donovan's class and Ethan announces he'll be going out tonight.

You decide to head back to your room to think about the events of the day and consider what you're going to do tonight.
