“Oh, there's a friend. Just a sec,” you quickly part ways with a surprised Jimmy. Though, Dex brightens as you head his way.

“Hi,” he says a little nervously.

“Hi,” you echo.

“So, did you get my texts?” Dex asks, nervously.

“Yeah, I did. I just didn't have time to respond. I've been at a housewarming, tonight. It sort of moved here.”

“Oh,” it seems like he's not sure what to think. He may have thought you came here on purpose to see him. “So, did you... wanna...”, he seems to visibly shrink from anxiety.
