What's next?

Go find your father's study

You decide to head out to find your father's study room. As you walk through your house, you start remembering more and more. The places where you played with Kelly, the places you used to hide, that time you fell off the stairs... this place is full of memories for you.

You finally make your way through the house and into your Father's study room. You remember a faint conversation you heard your parents talk about when you were a kid. That they needed this house because your father can use the room to do his lawyer work in peace.

You stop at the door and give it a small knock.

“Come in.” You father's voice comes through the door.

You push the door open and step into the sun lit room. Your father looks up at you quickly before he looks down to some paperwork.

“Anything I can help you with, son?” He asks.

“No, I'm just...” Your voice trails off as you look around the room. You were never in here much, but it's exactly as you remembered. Your eyes trace the walls lined with shelves and books. You've always wondered if your dad really read all those books. They lead all the way back to where your father's desk and chair are.

There's a little water cooler off to the side and a couple of seats facing your father's desk. You remember now that you would see some unfamiliar faces from time to time, when you father met his clients here. Behind your father's desk are three windows jutting out from the house in the shape of half a hexagon, allowing plenty of light to flood into the room.

Your eyes trace the room all around until they finally settle on your father. You remember that your father was always a nice guy. He was never too angry or upset with anyone but was always busy with work. He's very handsome for a man in his forties and pretty well built. He's often seen in a suit and tie and very presentable on most days.

Your father looks up from his work, noticing your stares. He gives you an exaggerated frown and you look away. It's slightly awkward being here. You consider leaving, but then realize that maybe you can take a little bit more time to get to know your father. You know that he's nice and always busy, but beyond that... you don't know much. You could always talk about work with him too. You've taken a few law classes in college and could dazzle him with your knowledge. Or you can just leave... should you:
