Go back to sleep.

You decide to go back to sleep despite what you just saw or maybe because of what you just saw. You don’t think anyone would believe you anyhow and there really isn’t anything you can do to help her. You worry though as you lay back down to sleep what may happen next for you, for Amanda, and for your relationship. The worries don’t seem to keep you from falling asleep though. You nod off thinking about what happened.

During the night the police show up busting down your door with guns drawn. You jump out of bed startled at the bright lights and loud noise. This causes the police to be alarmed and start to yell at you. You however are so afraid and confused that you attack the police who then start shooting at you. As you feel the first bullet enter your body, you think of everything that you saw earlier that you couldn’t stop and scream. You then feel yourself being shaken.

You open your eyes to see your mom and dad standing over you. Your mom is shaking you and your dad is standing there with a concerned look on his face. Your mom starts to stroke your face as she speaks to you.

Mom: “Are you alright? You were having a bad dream.”

You can tell this isn’t the only thing that’s on your parents mind as you nod yes that you’re fine and give her a hug. She hugs you back and despite yourself you can’t help but feel her breast pressing into you. You however manage to ignore the feeling as you can tell your dad wants to say something and so you should focus on that.

Dad: “The police came over earlier this morning. It seems Amanda was **** last night and thought it was you. Your mom and I however told them that you were home all night and that we were here. Your mom checked on you before going to bed. I had trouble sleeping and so stayed up all night. Also the alarm system would have given anyone away trying to sneak in or out of the house which I also told the police. They believed us and asked us to give you their card in case you might know something that could help them find out who it was. I’m so sorry this happened and I hope you can Amanda can get through this.”

Your dad comes over and gives you a hug before laying the card on the table beside your bed and leaving the room. Your mom then hugs you again before giving you a kiss on the forehead and also leaving the room. This gives you plenty of time alone to think about what happened last night and to decide what you should do next. You can tell them what you saw and hope they understand or say nothing and hope they figure it out on their own. Also, what are you going to tell Amanda who thought you **** her?
