Go Slow

You can't shake the odd feeling you have about that writing, something about the color and style, it's almost like the sensation of having a word on the tip of your tongue and just not being able to think of it. You shake your head having delayed enough and decide that maybe you should follow the advice, after all, it's not a particularly long hallway, so hopefully it won't delay you too much, you think as you step out onto the floor and begin the slow task of carefully taking slow steps to avoid stepping on any of the white lines on the tiles.

It's slow going but after about five minutes, and a few near missteps, you've reached the other side and find that the passageway snakes to the passageway snakes to the right, and as you follow the passage way you come to a junction, where you can go left or right. You still quite early in this maze so your mental map quickly works out that the right passage would have to be a very obvious dead end, and you wonder how panicked anyone would have to be to follow it, but then you wonder that if it was so blindingly obvious if maybe they wanted people to overlook it, and it wouldn't take that long to check it, could one of the prizes the announcer mentioned be hidden there?

You think quickly about it, about the time you already lost going slowly over those tiles for a trap that might not even of existed, you might be blundering into another trap, but then you keep thinking about that item the announcer mentioned, something to reverse the effects of any fertility jabs would be something useful if you get caught in any traps or at least give you a fighting chance if you're caught by the Manotaur.
