Go See Mrs. Beaumont

You hurriedly make your way to Miss Beaumont and get her attention.

"Yes, Parker?" she says.

"Miss Beaumont, I was assigned to the girls' gym class, but as you can see I'm still a boy. I can't do cheerleading," you say.

"Parker, Mr. Hilliard informed me that you were given the unusual privilege of making a choice and you chose to be in this class. We do not consider the Process to be an illness and you're obviously not menstruating, so I'm afraid you don't have a valid excuse. Now I want you to go in there and change. You've been assigned locker number 32 and you'll find the uniform in there."

"But..." you start.

"No backtalk, Parker," Miss Beaumont says. You wonder at the change that has come over her. By her looks, you had always assumed that she was a bit soft and weak, but you suddenly realize that she can exert authority when she wants to.
