Go or Stay?
Go!
Both Rebekah and Eyla were already waiting for him at the wonderfully cared yard in Rebekah’s house with the figure of a guy Eddie shares a fierce rivalry with, Liam Greene. Eddie inspected himself one last time and walked through the huge black gates of Rebekah’s house. Both Eyla and Rebekah gave him a bright smile as he entered the yard area. He just replied with a weak smile, as he felt Liam stared at him fill with resentment, Eddie just rolled his eyes in a ‘whatever’ and ‘I don’t care’ kind of way.
“Late again, Ed-ster? Must I remind you that outside of campus, you’re no longer the Class President!” said Liam snobbishly.
“Better late than hanging out here 24/7, hopelessly hoping a certain someone would love me!” Eddie replied snidely, referring to Liam’s obvious crush on Rebekah. Liam’s face turned red to match his flaming red hair. The girls, whom were trying to ignore the hostility initially, felt that they need to stop this before it got out of hand, especially since one is a hot-tempered prick, while the other is a fragile, broken man. They didn’t want anything terrible to happen or someone would say something they would regret, but before they did, Liam opened his big fat mouth.
“At least I didn’t get dumped two weeks ago and still crying about it!” retorted Liam defensively, trying to protect his pride, unable to take the embarrassment in front of Rebekah. The girls closed their mouths with their palms almost simultaneously. Ouch. That one definitely hurt Eddie.
How does Eddie react?
