Give into the pain

That last attack was a bit too much for even you, pain ran through your whole body, your chest burning from the blow. It took everything just to stay up and about. You were in no condition to fight, heck you could hardly even breath.

You could hear Maya speak "You've impressed me John-kun, bu-" Kun? That was the last though that shook through your mind before you fell down onto the floor, the pain too strong for you to stay conscious.

You thought you heard someone scream your name before you fell, but you couldn't be sure and didn't care at that moment...
