Chapter 74 by Donny P Donny P

What does he do?

Give Amanda some incentive.

This is garbage. Total bullshit. Some shallow primadonna went to all the trouble of flying here just to try and hook up with Brooke? This is why life is unfair. Without the Ultimate Dating App, nice guys like me would have no chance in this world because women are all out to screw us over one way or another.

But I do have the app. I have resources I can use to deal with this shit. I take a minute to plan, then I send a message to Brooke telling her what to do. The most important part is to do whatever she has to do to get Amanda to go to brunch. Then I send out a message to Caitlin telling her to ditch her morning classes and go pick up the contract. That only leaves me a couple of hours to plan out everything with the other girls.

By 10am I'm sitting at a table in a fancy restaurant that is known for brunch. Gabby, one of my new girls, is there with me just so I don't look suspicious sitting alone. I never knew there were restaurants that specialize in brunch, but there are, and this is the kind of snotty bullshit that impresses the great Amanda de la Rue. Luckily, Brooke knows all about this shit from her old life as a spoiled rich girl. She picked out the restaurant and sent me the location before she and Amanda came.

Brooke and Amanda come in. Brooke is bubbling over with charm and enthusiasm, but Amanda only slightly lowers her sunglasses and looks around like she's instantly bored of the place. After they sit she pushes her sunglasses back up on her nose and buries herself in her phone. I'm glad we set up this meeting for brunch, I'm not sure we could have kept her in town long enough for an afternoon meeting.

My table is close enough to theirs that I can hear everything.

“Oh my god, we have to get the vegan French toast!” says Brooke.

“Sure, whatever,” says Amanda, not even looking up from her phone.

“Oh! And carrot cake! It's so good here!”

“Sure, whatever. Hey, look, after the sponsor rep gets here with the contract, I still won't be able to do the shoot today. I'll have to take it back home so my agent and my lawyer can look at it.”

“Oh,” says Brooke. “Well, that might not work. I think they really wanted to start their new campaign right away.”

Amanda finally puts down her phone. “Well, I can't work like-”

“Brooke?”

A particular busty redhead walks up to the table. “Brooke! Oh my god!”

“Savannah!” says Brooke. She jumps up and hugs Savannah tightly. I notice that Savannah reaches down and cups Brooke's plump ass. I'm pretty sure Amanda notices too, but Brooke doesn't react at all. “It's so good to see you!”

“You too!” Savannah looks down at the table and smiles at Amanda. “Who's your hot friend?”

“I'm Amanda!” She stands up and sticks out a hand daintily. Savannah disengages from the hug and shakes hands with her. Amanda pulls off her sunglasses and squints a little. “Wait, I know you. You do fashion and cosplay tutorials! You did that sexy Swamp Beast costume. That got a ton of views!”

“Guilty!” says Savannah. “I don't do it for the views, though. I just love dressing up and sharing tips with people.”

“Sure, sure,” says Amanda, sitting back down in her chair with a smirk. “So, how do you two know each other?”

“We used to have the same agent,” says Brooke. “She switched representation recently, so we've been competing for some of the same endorsements, but it's all in fun. Hey, you should join us for brunch, Savannah!”

Savannah makes a pouty face. “Aww, I'd love to, but I'm actually here with my girlfriend!” She points at a table where Jez is sitting. Jez smiles and waves.

“Oh my god, your girlfriend is gorgeous!” says Brooke as if she's never met Jez.

“Wait,” says Amanda, “I know her too. Isn't she a goth model?”

Savannah acts coy. “Yeah, she is. You know, we're all in the same industry, you meet the people you work with.”

“Buuullllshiiiiiit!” sings Amanda. Her eyes dance and she smiles like a Cheshire cat. “I know what's going on here! You're trying to steal this sponsorship!”

“What?!” says Brooke, maybe laying on the hurt feelings a little too thick. She stomps her foot. “Savannah!?”

The redhead shrugs and smiles casually. “Hey, it sounded like a good deal. I just thought that if it fell through for you two, well, we've got the afternoon free, so why not?”

“How could you?!” says Brooke. Geez, she's laying this act on thick. She'd better tone it down or we're fucked.

“Pretty easily, actually,” says Savannah. “We're sitting right across from you, and we're super hot. Come on, look how good we look! I bet we can snake this deal away from you two just by getting the sponsor rep to look at us for two seconds.”

“I'll take that bet!” yells Brooke. “Usual stakes?”

“Deal!” Savannah turns around and looks over her shoulder as she walks away. “Good luck, ladies!”

As Brooke sits back down, Amanda says, “You made a bet on who will get the deal?”

Brooke smiles. “Yeah, but it's not a big thing. We do this kind of stuff all the time. The stakes aren't bad or anything, but you don't have to be part of the bet if you don't want to.”

Amanda leans in close. “What are the stakes?”

Brooke leans in closer and whispers into Amanda's ear. I can't hear them, of course, but I know what she's saying because I told her to say it in one of the messages I sent her this morning.

“The losers have to eat out the winners.”

When she pulls back Amanda's mouth is hanging open. “But... I thought you were straight?”

Brooke looks really confused. “Why did you think that?”

Before Amanda can respond, Caitlin walks up to them. She'd been standing outside, waiting for the message I just sent telling her when to enter. “Ms. Ainsworth, it's good to meet you. I'm Ms. Barnes, we had a meeting scheduled for today.”

They all introduce themselves, and Amanda pays a lot more attention than when she first entered the restaurant. They chat a little, order drinks, and then Caitlin pulls out the contracts.

Amanda immediately grabs the contracts and starts poring over them.

Brooke says, “Didn't you want your lawyer and agent to look over the contract?”

“No, it's fine,” says Amanda, not even looking up from the papers. “I've read a million of these. I don't need my lawyer.”

Within five minutes, the contracts are signed. Caitlin shakes their hands and leaves. Then the girls hug and order a bottle of wine as I leave with Gabby.

What's the next part of the plan?
