Getting Abby to understand the difference.

You look on at Abby, her body filled out nicely as she gotten a bit bigger and her hair got a bit more wild. You start to wonder why her hair would look like yours if she did not have a similar story. You watch her for a moment before she opens her eyes and looks down to notice she is at least a foot taller, thou your just guessing at this point her arms a bit bigger as is her chest and legs.

You simply say to her " Here, watch me a second Abby please calm down I swear you will understand in a second ok."

Abby looks at you right in your eyes and watches, as you let out a howl not a loud one just a clear howl. And your body shifts into the form more like her own, and she is surprised to be able to watch the change happen so quickly. She seems to remember that even with the pills it can take at least 8 hours over the suggested time for the affects of the change to come out and little things change over time til it is all back to normal. She does not quite understand why your, just as big as your animal form. Or why you still have your hair.

You smile and say " Abby, I get the feeling Max sent you to me to inform you of this. We just need to find out what kind of magic or protection or folk lore affects you, I for instance am affected by the magic of the She-wolf. She is a protector, it might be one of the reason's I was able to draw out your lower form. Because I was protecting you by doing it, or at least trying to help you."

Abby looks at you a second and she comes over and hugs you, you notice she is still quite a bit smaller then you. She starts to touch you a little just to make sure your real or at least you really did what she thinks you did. So you reach out and pinch her on the shoulder.

Abby then says " That hurt you know."

You smile at her and say " I wanted you to know your still awake, this form have taken is a middle point I think. Or at least that is the best I can explain it, I have not tried to return to my normal form. I honestly think in my case this is my normal form, and for you that might also be as well. But you will notice you are now bigger and stronger then most females. In this form, the only thing as strong as you as a whole is a female affected by the Animorph pills or an Animorph."

Abby thinks about it a second and says " I feel, at ease something not sure what but my mind is at ease." As she does this she presses her chest into yours as she hugs you.

You shake your head and say " Now is not the time for that, I hope even if your less timid now or more aggressive please understand. I did not call you out for this, I am just trying to help you understand the Animorphs and what you are or what Max suspected you had been."

Abby looks thoughtful for a second and then says " I was told a little about the folk magic and how things work on that end but I was never really told how they found the people or what happen once they did."

You shake your head and say " I don't know much on it either, all we know is that as an Animorph some of the Clerks pick up on strange things and often it leads to them being allowing people to pick a pet. In your case I don't understand why you work here but can't stand or relate to any of this."

Abby shakes her head and says " The religious idea's of my parents and my family, are very old. The conflicted for me comes from the relation of what man has down to be like god, and creating these things."

You shake your head and say " I am pretty sure some of the animorphs are not of gods design but at the same time I get the feeling that we are examples of why, some are."

Abby looks at you a second and says " You mean, we are not quite human?"

You shake your head and say " No we are human, we have just been affected by some form of magic. Lost magic or whatever, but it allows us to take the form of animals to some degree. The only problem is I am not sure what kind of Animal is your form."

Abby thinks about it a second and asks " How does the magic or the folk lore work with yours?"

You relate to her your trip with your family as a kid and how a wolf showed up and protected you for three days, and how animals have treated you different all your life since that time. You try to explain you also got the idea that some people are born with it in them. It is a part of them since the lore and the way the Werewolf is represented in almost every culture goes on to explain this fact.

Abby looks at you after you explain the depths of your story and what you know and says " They once said in my family, there might be a werewolf or a goat eater. But it was a long time ago."

You nod and say " So you mean your family is Spanish? or native American? or both?"

Abby nods and says " Yup, the Spanish converted my family to Christianity. And over few hundred years the Native blood of my family has gotten smaller, but we are still Native so to speak."

You nod again and say " It's possible a person affected by the magic along time ago did become the Goat Eater, or a werewolf. And because whatever he did become was hard for them to understand it mostly got him hunted and killed. So I would suspect that there is a good chance that your form is like my own the same magic. Wolf or Bear, and the Goat Eater was in fact a mix of the two magics confusing themselves. So in this case it would be much like if you mix a wolf Animorph with a bear Animorph. I have yet to try and shift into the bear, without the DNA. I have only shifted fur color and into a part wolf part giant otter mix. Or as some natives call it the River Wolf."

Abby smiles as you explain this and says " Well, how do I try and see what I turn into? How do you do it?"

You look at her and say " I think about how or what I wish to turn into, and then my mind acts out what it figures is best deep down inside. It's kinda like the idea of word magic the things you say hold power. Like for you I think I told you to wake up, I told you to show yourself for the first time. I told you to stop being timid and be strong. Next think I know you have this form, which is in fact a lot like my own. If you look in the mirror you would see how its similar." As you say this Abby just reaches up to touch her hair.

She nods and says " Your right, I can tell without looking we are a lot alike in this form. So I could see how you might figure we are the same animal magic or type." You watch as she seems to look deep inside her, she thinks about what she might be or how it might be and out comes a loud howl very loud. And you watch as her body starts to shift into a wolf, your not surprised when you see that she is shifting into a form that looks a lot like the one you just had.

You think for a second and let out a howl not as loud as her to take the form, you had before you dropped this one to show her what you had been talking about. You two look like a pair like this, it's clear it was because of what you had told her she took this form. You also notice she has paws and start to chuckle a little at her, but she had gotten a little bigger but not much when she shifted into this form.

You smile at her and say " The middle form, you will mostly be a bit bigger now your wolf form had not been taken yet so it had not filled out that form fully. Same with your hair it will mostly be more in line with what the form has done to your hair after you go back. To do that you just feel it inside you and howl, it does not need to be so loud either. If you notice I returned with a lot less sound then you had to shift but who knows. It might be a rule at first for the mind to drive it loud. Also you will find you have paws, not hands you did not clear it but if you think about it and let out a howl you might be able to get the wolf to give you your hands. Thou it might be the color of the wolves skin much like mine and honestly this looks better anyway."

Abby is just smiling her muzzle it's clear she is happy, and she says " So this is why you say. You believe god had planned for there to be Animorphs?"

You nod and say "Thou I have a strange affect on most females, and chances are now that your in this form. You could very well be the only female I have no affect on. It seems most females go into Heat around me." Abby being new to her form starts to sniff and sniff and sniff much like you had the first time.

Abby says " I can smell a lot of things, but mostly I smell what I think is you." She comes up to you and sniffs at you, up and down not even shy about it and then stops and says " I smell, the other female as well. As well for some reason it upsets me."

You shake your head and say " Don't worry about it, I honestly say at this point you should feel timid about it. What I mean is, I am already in a relationship with someone and Two Animorphs and a friend of hers. And a if you count the sheep dog. That makes five, plus I am pretty sure Max sent you to find this out not to get you to sleep with me. So please calm down a little."

Abby of course takes a moment, her feelings and senses are overwhelming her, she looks at you a second and then passes out. You grab her and take her to your bed, lay her down and curl up next to her holding her. Your pretty sure the shifting from normal form to the middle form and up had taken a bit out of her without the assistance of the DNA pill. You also realize the reason why you had changed form so quickly after taking the DNA pill must have been because of the magic. There is no way it would have done it otherwise based on what most people have said. So you start to wonder if Max had suspect that you had the magic on you since then. You drift off to sleep holding Abby, just to make sure when she wakes up she does not get upset or feel alone.
