Description:
Gavin is a young, good looking human with black hair and a fashionable sense of style. Due to him being of nobility, he has a lot of access to all the finest quality clothes and has no problem with showing it off.

Biography:
Gavin is born as the first son from the first marriage of a duke. He is therefore his father’s direct heir and is expected to one day inherit all his father’s wealth and titles.

When he became old enough for the awakening ceremony, Gavin decided he might as well see if the goddess would bless him with a rank or not. He was wealthy enough to easily afford it and at worst would change nothing about his life while at best it would grant him benefits. He was quite surprised that even though he never trained, he was still granted an A rank as well as became a mage. Despite many guilds requesting him to join them, Gavin decided to remain guildless. He returned home to train himself at his own pace, without having to worry about going on adventures.

The first few years as an adventurer, Gavin trained his newfound magical skills a lot. Once he had become skilled enough, he used his abilities to bring order to his father’s duchy. Taking down gangs of bandits, monster threats and even keeping rebellious vassals in check.

Starting his 25th birthday, Gavin decided to start participating in the yearly tournament and has even won the A rank championship once before. Providing him with a lot of prestige among his fellow nobles.

Skills:
Skill 1: smoke teleportation – if the user is completely covered in smoke, he can teleport his body to another cloud of smoke, providing the cloud he is teleporting himself to completely obscured his body (10 minute cooldown).
Skill 2: deathly visions – necromancer only skill. When the user makes physical contact with a bone, he can use this skill to see the last 10 minutes of a dead person’s memories.
Skill 3: Smoke manipulation – the user can use this skill to make a cloud of smoke take whatever shape he wants it to be and move it as he wills it.

Spells:
Magic 1: air
Air shield – Caster causes air currents to swirl around him to deflect projectiles away from him
Gale – caster causes a powerful air current to appear from his palm (more powerful version of gust) if uses in both hands it can be used to make the caster lift from the ground.
Levitation – air magic – caster causes himself to float

Magic 2: dark
Shades – caster creates a small dark screen in front of his eyes which protects his eyes from any bright lights
Forget - Causes the target to forget what just happened, or more energy can be expended to make them forget something more specific.

Magic 3: ****
Raise dead – caster causes a dead body to rise as an undead creature
Enfeeble – caster causes target to become weakened

Combined magic
plague (air + ****)
Fever plague - caster creates a wind which carries a minor disease that causes any who breath it to quickly develop a fever.

Smoke (air + dark)
Smoke Screen – caster creates a wall of smoke in front of him
Hide in Smoke – caster covers himself in a layer of smoke
Smoke Clone – caster creates a copy of himself out of smoke. The caster can make it move as he wills with his mind.

Binding (Dark + ****)
Bondage – caster causes five black tendrils to come out of shadows and other dark places to wrap themselves around the target
Magical binding – caster causes a purple tendril to wrap around a target. The target’s spells are made 20% weaker for every tendril touching him. Tendril can be easily destroyed. Can be cast multiple times on the same target.
Binding rest – caster causes a blue tendril to wrap around a target. The target becomes more tired for each tendril. Five tendrils make the target fall asleep.

Void (air + dark + ****)
Silence – when cast on a person or object, the target can no longer cause sound to be produced
Vacuum – caster creates a large transparent bubble of which only the edges can be seen and floats in the air. In this orb no air or air pressure exists.

Equipment:
Despite his appearance as a mage, when Gavin goes into battle, he makes sure to wear some chainmail underneath his fine clothes. He also carries a short sword with him, just in case magic simply doesn’t get the job done.
