Gather up some leaves

You begin to gather up some of the leaves scattered around, and toss them further away into a pile, hoping to draw the giant away with easy to obtain food. You stay as far away from the giant creature as you can, gathering the tops further away from it. While running back and forth to collect the leaves together.

It finishes its most recent meal and begins to slowly look around for more food, to which it sees a large pile, the pile you built and begins to trudge over slowly, it moves actually kind of faster than you expected.

Once it reaches the pile, which you set a good 50 yards away, it begins to eat the morsel quite gently, similar to the way it did before.

"Great," you say; finally you can reach the wreak.

You walk up to it, your guess seems to be right, it is indeed part of the forward section of an Arc ship. It appears to be for your purposes to be just a useless chunk of the hull; however, something draws your eye, that can't be right; can it?
