Game Rules

This description is an explanation of what I'm going for in this storyline. It is meant to elicit reader suggestions in the comments or via email ([email protected]).

This is meant to be a bit more a slow build than a lot of stories where Xander suddenly gets powers to change reality. Xander is still moral, he doesn't want to make changes he doesn't have to, and also understands that magic can be dangerous if pushed too far. As is he unaware of his previous changes, if he pushes it a little bit each time, then it will lead to a substantial movement of reality over the course of the story.

How this will work, hopefully, is I'll setup the subject line and look for feedback in the comments as what the actual answers Xander gives will be.

Rules

1: The changes have to balance out for the Scoobies. For every advantage they gain there has to be a disadvantage in return. If the changes don't sound like they balance one might end up being interpreted in a more **** manner than might have been thought (by the character, at least).

2: Two changes must have a sexual component, and one change non-sexual.

3: The subjects are always provided. One subject will be determined by the plot (ie what Willow/Xander would actually be trying to change) while the other two are determined randomly (I have a table that I'll roll a die and pick from). One subject will always be an enemy (Sisters of Jhe), one will be a place or concept (School), and one will be an ally (Buffy).

4: If you want to make a suggestion, you would fill in the rest of the subject line. You can answer one or all of the prompts.

5: Willow and Xander will always think the spell failed, though they might start to get suspicious.

The plan is that this will go until the end of season 3: so that will be about 8 to 10 times that the spell is cast. If its successful I might start it again at a different point in time or with a slightly different theme.
