Friends come through for each other

"How the hell did you get that." I say in a demanding tone

*WHAM*

"Ooof!" I groaned

Cardin punched me in the gut. It hurt most likely leave a bruise, but I couldn't afford to use aura healing right now I needed a plan.

"Easy there Jaune-y boy if you must know Sky here swiped it off you back in the cafeteria."

Looking back I remember him giving me that pathetic shove when they were leaving.

I can't mental boost anyone and keep my semblance secret, I wasn't about to boost my strength to make a leap for it sky was their fastest a mess up means he gets away even if I get back then destroy my scroll they had enough to open my scroll then they had time copy it, I sure as hell wasn't beating all of them in a fight now. So, out of desperation I try to lie or talk my way out of this, so I put on a straight face.

"You guys are pretty cocky for four guys that walked away tail between your legs, and you got balls blackmailing the guy beat you in one on one fight." I say going for intimidation

"Don't go pulling the tough guy act we know you can't fight we know you can't fight." He leaned closer, "Not now at least your scroll also tells us YOUR aura levels not to mention the copies we sent to our own devices this isn't a fight you can win with strength this time."

'DAMN IT!!!'

I roar internally at being in a corner like this again. Memories of when I was blackmailed before about my transcripts resurfacing. The best I can do is play along in hopes that I get enough time to recharge then handle this future huntsmen disgrace of a team later.

"What do you want?"

"Atta boy, you know Jaune I miss these days back before I called off the deal in exchange for you staying to save me that day." He says looking back at the teammates that ran away

"I don't know how you did it but you managed to get the underwear of the hot blonde with big tits but I'm guessing it had something to do with that video you have." He assumes I blackmailed her.

"Here's what I'm thinking; this can go so many ways for a long time but the first thing I want is for you to get Yang to a secluded area of my choosing no weapons. Make sure she's in her combat gear so it will be easier to hide than her uniform." He goes on

"I get the picture." I say cutting him off everything he says sickening and makes me angry.

"Good. You'll help get the rest of the team later. And don't tell her a thing I wanna see the expressions on her face as it's all happening." Him and his team turns to leave

"That's the only way for you to get a girl I suppose." I say out of spite

They stopped and turned back to me.

"Oh what the hell one beating for old times sake." He charge tackled me into the door behind me

*BANG* "GAH!"

"Careful he doesn't have aura remember!" One his guys called out that I could not point out through the pain

"Relax he's used to taking hits, but yeah I want him to be there and watch how to make the best of an opportunity." He snarks

"If you couldn't get your weapon and handle a Ursa Major, then you could never get your hand on your baby dick and handle a woman." I snarl at him

Everyone was shocked including me but except Cardin. He looked enraged and I took pride in that, satisfaction even. The look in his eyes spoke his rage his words told his actions.

"Sky how much aura does Jaune have?" He asked

"Cardi-" Russel was cut off

"How much!?"

"Seventeen percent and slowly rising." Sky told him

Then without a word he pulled out his mace. I knew he wouldn't kill me but he would cause a lot of pain without doing damage to get him in trouble. I was scared and ready to jumped out of the way when a familiar foot came the side into Cardin's face.

"Velvet? Why are you here?" I say a loud seeing her angered face

"Jaune! Oh my goodness are you ok. Oh my oh my I can see a bruise already forming on your collarbone now." She says in a more panicked state

Cardin got his footing looking at his attacker.

"You filthy animal, you want in on this too." he raised his mace again aiming for Velvet's head

I shove her away ready for an attack make contact somewhere on me. Only for the sound of metal hitting metal followed by a male grunt. I look back and get a good view of Coco's ass in black tight pants. She looked forward eyes hidden by her glasses, a grimace on her face, and hand clenched on her bag/mini gun handle.

"Gr-FUCK! Another one?! Fuck it you guys follow me and rush the bitch!" Cardin barked

Running forward, mace glowing red, he pulled it back, and-

*POW*

He is knocked **** by the big fist coming out of the doorway. Yatsuhashi followed by Fox come out into the hallway completing the set.

"Yatsuuu." Coco says in a tone that a teacher would use on baby about to do something wrong

"You were going to get yourself into bigger trouble if I didn't." Yatsu tells her

"Uuuugh. Then you and Fox take out the rest they won't even be worth it, while me and Bun bun check on the little guy." She ordered receiving nods

She turns back to me, "Props kid, I don't know what you guys were talking about but from what I can tell you talked shit, got hit, talked more shit, got saved, then tried to saved Velvet again today. You are the real deal and officially an honorary member of team CFVY."

"Thanks I guess but what are you guys doing here?" Surprised I'd see them all again so soon

"Someone had to get something from her locker, heard a noise, got the rest of us, we heard someone we didn't like say something we didn't like, and the same someone rushed out the door then the rest is obvious." Coco says looking at Velvet

Velvet not blushing but checking my body for serious injuries. She was so focused that she probably took a while to process what was said because when she put her hand on me she stopped and began blushing. She continued her little check-up her blush only growing more. Coco watched and left with a smirk on her face as swung her bag down on a unsuspecting Sky making him drop like a rag doll.

I looked back to see the two other guys already down the last one being choked out as his aura only making it slower until it stopped and Dove was out like a light. When Fox let go he picked up something from sky and handed it to me.

"It's your scroll right?" He asks

"How'd you know?" I ask back in order to confirm what was heard

"You're initials." He says so casually

That was one thing down hopefully.

What came after was CRDL getting carried by nurses heading to medical to suit any wounds that the **** mind won't be able to fix with aura. Me and CFVY in medical as well to for questioning and treatment.

"Thanks guys I really appreciate this."

"Don't worry about it we're just returning a favor to you and CRDL. I can only imagine the trouble we're gonna get for this though."

"What Goodwitch will have to say about this has me concerned even if we're in the right." Yatsu brings up

"We did what was right and that's what counts helping a new friend in trouble." Velvet speaks up

"True, but what are we gonna tell Goodwitch?" Fox agreed but still concerned

"Team CRDL tried to jump me then you guys came to get your training in only to see the aftermath and hand me back my scroll." I say calmly

"Lie back down you must clearly have head trauma." Yatsu says

"No no no no na-uh." Coco was the first speak up

"You guys are 3rd years you'll get in more trouble if Goodwitch finds out then I'll be for defending myself while unarmed." I try reasoning

"Jaune you can't be serious." Coco tells me in disbelief

"Jaune we did the actions we need to take accountability you can't be the one to get in trouble for this." Velvet tries to lecture me

"You guys saved me so I'll take the blame it's only fair and it's believable even for Goodwitch." I tell them

"It is not fair that you take any blame this we are the ones that take accountability you did nothing wrong if we weren't there-!." Velvet pushes

"If you weren't there I would be the only one in herd, if I had my aura they'd be the only ones in here. You guys did what I would have done if the situation was different." I say wholeheartedly

"But why." Velvet asks upset at my solitude to go through on this

"Because friends come through for each other." I tell her

"Coco are you really gonna allow this." Velvet turned to her leader and last hope

She looks at me neutral look. She gets down to be eye level with me sitting in bed then she took off her shades. For a few seconds she looks straight into my eyes neither breaking contact in complete silence.

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" She asks in a absolute serious tone

"Yes just trust me. Please." I tell in all seriousness

"Fine you do what you have to do."

"WHAT YO-"

"Rules become a lot more strict the more years you're here being expected to be better and as third years this could keep us back a year for graduation." Fox states

"And as a second year I'd be facing a more academic punishment and possibly lose my position as a leader, if I started the altercation that is."

"Why do you place so much confidence in your plan?" Yatsu asks

"No cameras, Cardin is the proud type to do this from attacking first to saying it was a stronger opponent that beat him and his team like you guys over a single student that I am capable of doing, the videos of us in the cafeteria is motivation enough, you guys still have full auras to show that you just got there and haven't fought, and more. So just say what you guys were actually doing before we got to the training rooms but don't involve me till you arrive and 'found' me among the five beaten bodies." I say in confidence

We finished talking Yatsu place a hand my shoulder that just says, "thank you friend". Fox nodded in appreciation before heading out the door with Yatsu. Coco had nothing left to say between us. Finally the look on Velvet had so much to say thinking she was upset of felt guilty that I was about to be 'punished' after helping her out today and quickly becoming close with. Before she could protest I grabbed her hand and just looked at her calming her down immediately. She relented and left led by Coco.

"Get some rest we'll talk to your friends and team." Coco called out

I being the conscious person had to wait a bit in the nurses office till I'm in good health to make my way to the Goodwitche's office, but for now I'll focus gaining as much of my aura back quickly if I want attempt anything with Goodwitch.

At some point I had fallen into wonderful sleep resting in bliss completely ignorant to the world around me. Not sensing the presence at my side that remained for a majority of my rest. Not processing the kind words and promises whispered in my ears. Not reacting to the soft sensations on my face and body. Not even the few flashes of light that would appear here and there. All I felt was my body, mind, and soul at rest for when I get back up again.

Ok I have a mental layout on how to do the next chapter. I will leave more options I come up with or see from you guys in the comments after writing the next chapter or two. They will lead to more and new options/characters in the future.
