Freezes time

Freeing her hand, Jess reached for the ring, touching it, being careful not to spin it. She felt the familiar feeling of the energy spreading throughout her entire body, before leaving it, surrounding her in a shield of green energy. She crawled over Richard and out of bed.

Richard was laying on his right side, and would have been facing Jess if she were still laying in bed. Now she stood behind him, and was about to give him a good scare!

With the satisfaction of seeing what was going to happen in her mind, she touched the ring again. The energy flowing back inside of her, the green shield fading into her skin.

"Jess?" Richard said, reaching forward to see if you went invisible. "Where are y..."

Quickly jumping onto him from behind, Jess shouted "Boo!"

Startled, Richard nearly jumped himself, letting out a very girlish high pitched squeal, rearing around towards her. Jess broke out in laughter at the sound Richard had just made.

"How the? What the? You were? That was..", Richard said, he couldn't seem to get a question out.

"Magic? Yeah, I know. I've been experimenting with it all day"

"That's fucking awesome! Can I help?", Richard asked with intense enthusiasm.

"What did you have in mind?"
