Gambio clearly missed the entire point of the story. In fact, a lot of issues they complain about in Dark Lord are present in Hard Candy but turned up to 11. At least villains in our story get their comeuppance, I hope that doesn't include me"

"Apparently, Unknown7 might give us our own branches at some point" said Farsel, "I know she already intended to do some bonus chapters centred around other characters. There's a little of it in-"

"I don't know if they meant you as well or just Fred" said Sara.

"When have I not thought tactically?" asked Fred, "I've punched enemies in their genital parts, I beat Farsel with the bucket over the door trick, why would they think I would attack the palace directly? They do have a point about your lack of contribution, Sara"

"Also, after everything Antiope did to me, how was I not justified in my ****?" asked Taria.

Unknown7 was trying to do the Dragon Ball approach where it takes a while for a real threat to appear. Obviously, some people seem to think it should have happened sooner. As for Marcie, she might have worked as an antagonist to root against but she's a terrible protagonist"
