For the moment

"Listen John...I had a lot of fun hooking up with you at the game...but after we got busted...I did some thinking, so I think we need to take some time to cool off before we see each other again," Rachel tells you as you arrive back at the airport and go your separate ways.

"I completely understand Rachel," you tell her as you walk to the car with her, hoping to at least continue this conversation for as long as you could.

"We'll see each other again...you are my agent after all," she reassures you, "but I feel like things moved way too fast, since we wound up fucking three different times that night. But the next time I need a hook-up, you know I'll be out here again."

"I am sorry if I have caused you any inconvenience Rachel," you tell her as she rushes off to catch her connecting flight, "because I never meant for any of this to happen, baby."

You like to think you have a knack for these things, so you don't have a good feeling about whether or not you will actually see her again, and lament the loss of what had been a perfect "customer satisfaction" rating as you drive back to the office.

But as it turns out, you were going to see her again a lot sooner than you had expected to.
