Chapter 7 by Dogdog Dogdog

How do things change?

For the better

Bzzzt

Breathing in...

Calming my nerves...

Ignoring the weight in my chest, urging... No, begging me to turn back.

I pushed open the gym's double doors with shut eyes and fated breath. There I stood in wait, expecting the worst, and fearing the expected. Any second the students would look, and fingers would point. Mouths would begin to gossip, and rumors would continue to spread.

Look! It's socially awkward Sydney!

Hahaha! No way!

Oh great, the hermit left her cage... Everyone pretended not to notice. Maybe then we can ignore her presence.

She didn't even care to wear a nice fucking dress! What's the point of her being here?

Hey, you can't blame her. She's just sheltered and innocent... Probably saving herself for marriage or some shit, don't expect anything from her.

What the hell am I doing here? No one gives a single freaking hoot about me, and they never will. I gave my conservatively simple blue dress a once-over; unless I have on something slutty, not a single person would give me the time of day...

"I'm not doing this..." I whispered. The students gossip already formed the clear sign that I was not welcome here.

"Na'hah! You're not going anywhere." Jessica made swift movements beside me and placed her firm grip on my shoulder.

Leaning into her, "No one wants me here!" I seethed.

"I want you here." She gave me a pout, "Do I not matter to you?"

"Oh please, don't give me that." I shook away her hold with a huff.

"Fuck..." Jessica mumbled. "H-He.. Hey! Look is that... I think that's Wyatt!" She said with **** excitement.

My ears perked.

"Wyatt?"

"...Yes...." Jessica blinked. Not appreciating the thought of her best friend having a crush on someone other than herself.

I turned on my heels with renewed vigor and shuffled behind Jessica's frame. "Oh my god! He's really here!!"

"Yeah, trust me, I wouldn't make this shit up." Jessica sighed and turned to face her friend. "Are you seriously gonna just leave without saying hello?"

My shoulders slumped. "I mean... Probably he's just gonna see me as..."

"Last time I checked, he's one of the people here you're on good terms with. Hell... how do you think he'll feel if he finds out you left the dance without even giving him a hello?"

"I dunno..."

"Sydney, boys are idiots. That's why I'm not into 'em." She crossed her arms and nodded to herself. "He's gonna see you as uninterested, not shy. And then, BAM! You'll lose any shot you might have had!"

Jessica's points were valid, but I still felt hesitation in my joints. Wyatt has always been nice to me, and... I've thus been crushing on him for a long while... Too long! By now, he probably has a girlfriend or some shit...

"He's standing by himself! If he had a date, she'd be dancing with him by now! Actually, no nevermind..." Jessica's sudden change of track caught me by surprise. "Let's just leave. Fuck Wyatt am I right? No one likes him anyway. I mean, if someone did, they'd go up and talk to him, but clearly, that's not happening. So... Let's ditch this shit-hole and chill out at Starbucks."

I frowned as Jessica moved to leave.

With my head down low, I began heading over to where he was standing, near the punch bowl.

He picked up my advance rather quickly, and he seemed to brighten up with a slight smile. "Sydney! Hey! I didn't expect I'd see you here. What's going-"

Bzzzt

As if on cue, the entire building began to suddenly shake with the shuttering **** of an earthquake.

Wyatt vanished. No... Everyone vanished! The girls teasing her, the boys mocking her. The food, the irritating teen bop, the flashing neon lights...

Everything vanished.

With the glossy wooden tiles making up the floor around her collapsing into a dark encompassing void.

"The hell?"

Bzzzt

My eyes shot open.

SHIT

It was a fucking dream...

Of course, it was a freaking dream, prom fucking sucks! There's no way in hell I'm gonna allow Jessica to push me into showing up to that shit hole. Everyone who goes already has a date; whoever doesn't just sit around on the sidelines watching and waisting whatever use their time could have. And it's not like I'm going to get a date...

At least not with someone that has genuine feelings for me... Apparently, looking like me makes it hard to find someone who truly cares about more than my attractiveness.

The struggles of being hot.

Bzzzt

"Goddam alarm!" Where's my fucking phone?

Bzzzt

I groaned and rolled over onto my side, finding the audible source of the sudden intrusion into my subpar dream lying on the floor.

It was my phone.

I always set my alarm three hours before school - because it takes me at least an hour and a half just to find enough strength to push myself out of bed - so the sun wouldn't have made it up past the towering Gotham buildings yet; which explains the dark hue peeking through the curtains.

Bzzzt

"Alright, Alright." I quietly groaned to no one in particular. Switching onto my stomach, I felt a wave a pleasure pass through me the moment I moved my weight onto my chest. "Shit..." The ridiculously sudden influx of arousal caught me off guard. No, my boobs have never been this sensitive! This is unheard of and completely unnatural! I need to figure out what to do with this shit because the ability my breasts seem to now have is going to make living my everyday life more than impossible. What? I can't look at my own chest, or I'll become a mindless **** to... What? A **** to myself!? And now I can't even brush against my bust without feeling attacked by lust?! Something is going on that I'm not aware of, something has to be! Maybe there's been an influx of metas with strange oddities? I don't fucking know, but this shit just isn't usual.

Bzzzt

"I know I know, I got to get ready for Schoo-" I was taken aback upon taking a look at my phone screen. The time said 7:39pm. "WHAT THE HELL!? I... I OVER FUCKING SLEPT!?" I threw off the bedsheet covers and ignored the surge of pleasure as my boobs bounced in place. Ripping away the blinds to my room, my jaw dropped open.

What. The. Fuck.

The sun wasn't rising. It was fucking falling!

I missed the whole day...

What.

Happened.

Bzzzt

Wally grinned.

"Checkmate, my good sir." Arms crossed, he leaned back in his seat.

Alfred raised a single brow. "Did you forget about the Bishop?"

Wally's smugness faltered, and he looked back down to reevaluate his play. "Wait wait wait, I-" His quick gaze skimmed every inch of the chessboard before him. "I wanna undo that!"

"Sure."

The Queen Wally moved returned to its previous position, and he instead pushed back the King to a safer spot. "Alright... Alright, I'm good." He said with less certainty.

"Are you sure?"

"Y...Yes..."

"Alright." Alfred gradually reached for the board and moved his Pawn one space forward. "Checkmate."

"WHAT!?" Wally went from a six to eleven as he jumped up to his feet. "No! How? I.. Tha- That- Th- That's not possible! There needs to be a way out of this!"

Alfred allowed Wally to search over the board for some kind of excuse to save his game. But much to the dismay of the speeder, there was nothing. "You did manage to trap me in a bind there young West. But second-guessing yourself was your downfall."

"You tricked me!"

"I only made an observation."

"An observation that got in my head!" An accusatory finger was sent Alfred's way.

"Perhaps you shouldn't allow your opponents to manipulate your choices so effortlessly."

Wally stood in silence, his anger being well past the boiling point. "Again! I'll beat you this time."

"While you claimed that for the previous five attempts, I respect your determination." The man approved.

"Hey." Barbara poked her head into the library. "Thanks for the pick me up..." She pointed a thumb behind her. "But I'm heading out now."

"Now, are you sure you're feeling well? There is no shame in taking the time to reenergize after a loss." Alfred's attention moved to the heroine, his voice showed that of concern.

Barbara took a step into the room "I didn't lose... I just... Took a tactical dive... To give them a false sense of security."

"Yeah, sure." Wally snorted, "You sound like my uncle Todd... I don't have an uncle named Todd, but if I did you'd be sounding like him right now."

"I don't know what that means but... But I feel fine!" Barbara changed her tone a voice upon noticing the doubtful look Alfred was giving her. She flexed her toned arms and stretched out her legs. "See? No aches, no bruises, and no broken bones. I'm fine!"

"How about internally?"

"Yeah, you were poisoned by Ivy so..."

"So, if I feel anything, I'll be sure to call." Barbara turned to leave but halted in place upon remembering something. "And uh.. Please don't tell Bruce about this hickup... We don't want to bother him, yeah? He probably has enough on his plate with the whole Justice League expo thing..."

"My lips are sealed," Alfred responded, prompting Barbara to sigh in relief. "But the entire building is bugged, so he might come to figure out regardless."

"Shit."

"Yeah that sucks..." Wally said, with his attention returning to the game before him. "Anyway back to chess!"

"Fifth ring..." Jessica rested on the plush couch as she mulled over her thoughts, the back of her head splayed over the armrest. "Is she still asleep?"

"Hello?"

Jessica's ears perked, and her head shot up with deadly speed that couldn't have been healthy for her neck.

"Sydney! Hey! How you doing girl?"

"Horrible..." Came Sydney's blunt response. "Did you notice I never showed up to school?"

"Uhh... Yeah..." Jessica had to restrain herself from being careless with her words. "That's why I was calling... Just worried about you and shit... Are you okay?"

A sigh was heard through the phone.

"I feel like shit, and now my sleep schedule is fucked... I just... I just don't know why I would sleep in so late! I've never done that before and-"

"Sid, listen." Jessica calmed her voice in an attempt to do the same for her friend. "Stuff happens, it's not a big deal. You seem really stressed right now, and that won't help you sleep later, maybe you need to calm down a bit."

"Yeah I guess..." There was a sound of fumbling coming through Jessica's phone. "I'll get something to eat and start running through my homework."

Jessica rolled a few dark strands of hair through her fingertips. She always finds herself feeling somewhat bubbly when talking to her friend. It never fails to put her in a good mood. "Hmmmm, I think we should meet up somewhere and eat. How does that sound?"

"Uhh.. No I think I'm going to stay in my dorm for the rest of the day cause... Honestly Jess, I look like shit..."

"What no.. No you don't! Sydney, listen to me, you can never look anything other than amazing!"

"Thanks for the flattery... But..." The sound of flowing water was heard on Sydney's end. "Yeah, I look like a person who's slept all day."

Well, she wasn't passed out all day, but what actually occurred is arguably worse. The thought of her dear friend being **** to stand and stare at her own chest for hours on end...

It both aroused and dismayed her.

Arousing in the sense that Sydney was so passive... So innocent and obedient.

But on the other side of the very same scale... If someone else were to have found Sydney before Jessica had. They could have done anything to the poor girl... Literally anything! One command and Sydney would have spread her legs for anyone who gave her the order. It would be effortless. Someone could even make Sydney forget her best friend's existence with a snap of the finger...

Scary.

Yet still arousing...

"Look, I'll pay." Jessica insisted.

"Maybe later, Jess, but I appreciate the offer."

Jessica's mother stepped into the living room while dusting off her hands against each other. "Alright, I finished cleaning your room for you." She turned towards the kitchen and called out. "Try keeping it tidy this time, cause I'm not cleaning it up for you again."

"Okay Mom." The thought of the commands Jessica put into her mother gave her pause... Why should she be asking Sydney... When she could be telling her...

"Is that your mom?" Sydney asked. "Tell her I said hi."

"Yeah I will." Jessica was quick to dismiss. "But what do you think of busty bananas?"

"Busty ba... What?"

"What? Uh.. Shit, I meant Busty Banana! Singular..."

There was a sudden and abrupt lack of response on Sydney's end.

Jessica smiled.

"Sydney, can you hear me?"

"Yes."

"Nice! It works over the phone..." One lick lip later. "Okay so when I hang up, you will get dressed. Wear something casual, and meet me at... Starbucks.. You like Starbucks right?"

"Yes."

"Of course you do, I know my best friend!"

Less than an hour later, the dark-haired teen strolled through the bustling streets of the sunsetting Gotham. She approached the Starbucks, in which she has had many good memories of in the past, and took in the fresh air. Ah yes! The smell of soot and trash... The sounds of honking and cussing...

Jessica wouldn't have Gotham any other way.

She entered the - Arguably - overtly priced coffee shop, the familiar bell ringing sweet tunes in her ear.

"Ah! Jessie! My favorite customer!"

Jessica flashed the older lady behind the counter, a white flash of teeth. "So I got de-ranked from favorite person? Oh well, how's it going, Emma?"

"Its going," The woman replied honestly. "I assume you're banking for the usual?"

"How'd you know?" Jessica winked. "Oh, and Sydney's coming around too so..."

"Noted, I'll hit you girls with the double."

Jessica said her thanks and moved over to her usual spot near the rear corner of the building. Sydney was never the kind to bask in the spotlight, and she always felt comfortable staying away from the action. So basically, this whole back area was built for her.

Pulling out a seat, just as she was about to place her butt down on the chair. The welcoming chime of the front door opening caused her to peer her head up. Sydney came in, looking as gorgeous as ever. She had on a casual blue T-Shirt with an outline of her blessed bust pressing against the material, and black genes that hugged her shapely waist. God, that blonde could make the most generic casual getup look wonders.

Sydney's cute head looked up towards the front counter.

"Oh, if it isn't my favorite customer! How are you?" Emma greeted.

Sydney's lips curled into a smile. "Hey! I'm doing great! Just popping in for a bit... Here to meet.."

"Jessie? She's at your usual spot." The woman nodded her head in Jessica's general direction.

Sydney's gaze traveled to where Emma was gesturing, and the teen's expression visually lightened upon seeing Jessica waving towards her.

"Sydney! Didn't expect to see you here."

The blond stepped towards her friend, flicking away a strand of golden hair, "Yeah? Like you didn't organize a meetup."

"Well, I didn't know if you'd stand me up or not."

"I only do that on Thursdays." Sydney pulled up the chair adjacent to Jessicas.

"It is Thursday."

"Really?" Sydney paused for a seconded with genuine surprise, before sitting down. "Yeah because yesterday was... Okay yeah, I'm just not feeling myself today."

Jessica frowned and shuffled her seat closer to Sydney. "Clearly... That's kinda why I wanted to meet up here. Let's talk, tell auntie Jessie what's wrong."

Her voice oozed with sarcasm. "Oh please, you wanna know what's wrong? I screwed up my sleep schedule, and now if I ever look at my own chest, I'll be sent into some mindless spell. So basically... Do you know how hard it was to put this top on!?" She paused her rant to grip the sides of her shirt and pull it outwards. Giving Jessica a slight peek of her cleavage, and thus causing the dark-haired teen to feel slightly light-headed. "I have to do everything blindly, more or less."

"Uhh.. About that.." Jessica blinked away the fog in her brain. Only to find her attention now locked on the blonde's bust.

Sydney released her grip on her shirt, causing it to revert back to its original modest state. Though, it could be argued that nothing she wears is modest with how her perfectly placed curves fill out everything to a pleasing degree. "Yeah, I knew that's what you really cared about." She peered behind her. "Did you order anything? I'm kinda hungry."

"Oh, I got you girl," Jessica sided stepped the question with an absent wave of the hand. "But you have something amazing there..." She scooted ever so closer to Sydney and hooked a hand around the blonds back to lightly grip the side of her large rack.

Sydney raised a brow, and thusly sighed. She wasn't in the mood to shoo Jessica away, especially since the teen would just spring back with double the emotion. Though, the thought did cross her mind that she could **** Jessica to keep her hands off... One command and it would be over with. The pervert is in indirect contact with her breast right now. Indirect or not, contact is still contact.

No... No, she would be betraying her best friend's trust if she willfully compelled her like that. It wouldn't be the right thing to do.. Besides, she doesn't mind Jessica's light touches here and there. Especially if it's in private. Sydney doesn't have a single gay bone in her body, but if her best friend is, and she finds joy in being close... It's not a huge deal.

Grumble...

But she is hungry.

"Yes, I know, I know... I have a fantastic rack, you tell me every day. But's it's no like Power Girl or Wonder Woman level..."

"Yeah, but do Wonder Woman or Power Girl have magic mind controlling tits?" Jessica whispered into Sydney's ear.

"You're asking the wrong girl..."

"The answers no... I mean it looks like it, cause DAM! They have nice racks... But no, I've looked at them enough through news feeds and shit, and I never felt anything like I do when I see your juicy... Creamlike... Heavenly..." With each mumbled complement, Jessica inched her neck closer and closer to Sydney's, attempting to get a peek down the blond's top.

She was stopped by a palm to her forehead. "Jess, I knew you'd get antsy, so I wore something specifically conservative so you wouldn't see anything distracted."

"But whyyy."

"Cause I don't like the thought of messing with your head? Because you're my friend? Are those not valid reasons?" Sydney noticed Jessica's hand was still against her breast, but now the perverted teen was sneaking in a couple squeezes here and there. "Okay... Where's the food?" She muttered and looked behind her, searching for-

"Wyatt!?" She promptly gasped.

That one name snapped Jessica out of her lust-filled quest and leaned up to find what Sydney was looking at. Her hand still hooked on the juicy tit. "Did you say... No way..." Her eyes landed on the person in question. "He works here? Fuck."

"You can say that again..." A frown painted Sydney's lips.

"Fuck."

"Why did he have to be here!?" Her breath rate began to rise fairly rapidly. "I look shit! Do I look shit? I look shit..." As Sydney was hit with a bolt of insecurity, she smoothened her golden hair behind her ear. Her newly found concerns had her forget about the hand that was pressing into her bust, and she leaned into Jessica's grip, unconsciously, as she attempted to fix her hair.

Wyatt had a broom in hand, and he was too preoccupied with the tiled floor to notice his two classmates seated near the far back of the building.

Jessica had her eyes glared directly on the guy that held her friend's affection. "You look fine... I wouldn't worry about him. He's a creep. Not the type of guy I'd hang around with, that's for sure..."

Squeeze.

"Yeah, and you're such a perfect role model..." Sydney said with her eyes on Jessica's perverted hand. If Wyatt works at this freaking store, she should probably scoot away from the girl groping her chest.

"Look, I may not be perfect, but at least I'm able to admit to myself when I have a crush on someone."

Sydney's face reddened. "I... I don't have a crush on- Y.. You have a crush on him!"

A light shudder passed through Jessica, as Sydney's words seemed to flow right into the teen's head, turning an idle deflected jab into an absolute command. Her lower lip was held in a lust-filled bite, and she felt a moan inch it's way to the surface when the realization hit her. Blinking twice, she wanted to slap herself as she pulled her grip from Sydney's tit.

Her friend inadvertently gave her a mental command, and now... Well, was Wyatt always attractive?

No, no he fucking wasn't! She's not even remotely into guys, Sydney twisted her mind without so much as being aware of it.

And she's not even mad...

Because why would she be upset over Sydney planting something in her head that seemed so.. Right?

"Ima go freshen-up,"

"Hmm?"

Jessica blinked again, as Sydney stood up off the chair she was on. Her eyes drew down to the blond's ass as she speed-walked to the restroom.

"Freshen up my ass..." She mumbled and felt slightly.. Jealous? Envious?

No, fuck that. Why should she be jealous over some boy when she doesn't even find guys attractive?

As Jessica pondered over her sudden attraction to a guy, she has never previously cared about, she observed Wyatt as he worked through her peripheral vision. He approached a brunette girl whose hair was done up in a ponytail. The girl seemed to be absorbed into the sheets of paper she had before her. Perhaps homework or a project of some kind.

She was so invested in whatever she was doing she practically yelped when Wyatt tapped her shoulder. He looked amused as he placed a styrofoam cup on her table, besides the scattered assortment paper.

From her position on the back-most table, Jessica couldn't discern what the two were talking about. But they seemed to be fond of each other, as they spoke with such friendliness.

Is that his girlfriend?

In the usual sense, that would be great news for Jessica. Meaning Sydney wouldn't have a chance, and Jessica wouldn't have another obstacle in her way of getting Sydney to accept the feelings Jessica has for her.

But now that Sydney accidentally shared her crush for the boy onto Jessica.

Well, now she's feeling much more jealous than anything else.

"How do I look?" Sydney asked, having returned from the restroom.

"Amazing..." Jessica responded on instinct. Though, she didn't even need to give Sydney the once over. That girl looks fantastic regardless of what state she's in. "Hey, do you know who that girl is?"

Sydney hesitated as she sat down, her vision scanned the room for a second before she saw the person Jessica was referencing. "No..." She frowned. "I've never seen her before... You think that's his girlfriend?"

"Not for long..." Jessica seethed as she watched Wyatt return to behind the counter.

Sydney's eyelids fluttered. "What do you mean by that?"

"That girl is getting in our- Your way of making it with Wyatt. But we can change that."

It took less than a second for Sydney to piece together where Jessica was going with this.

"No... No no no! I'm not using my.. Powers on anyone for something so- So petty!" She crossed her arms below her bust. "And, especially not on Wyatt of all people, I like him! But I'm not going to **** him to like me back."

"Who said we're gonna use it on him?" Jessica's gaze was still locked on the girl, who, at this point, had her focus moved back to the sheets she was working on.

"Well you implied it... It.. It doesn't matter. I'm not making anyone do anything!"

"Busty Banana."
