For now

Amy and Brendan learn it is very hard for him with a near 3ft dick to move. He shifts to a more comfortable form and they spend the night relaxing. They get ready for work and go in as normal. Mid way through the week, Brendan gets home and tries to open some mail. The tape giving him trouble he digs through the junk drawer, tossing the ray gun to the side. After he gets his unnecessarily taped phone book, he looks at the somewhat broken ray gun on the counter. He texts Amy.

Brendan - [Hey send me Allison's number. I got a question for her.]

Amy sends it with - [Going to leave me out?]

B - [If it works youll get a surprise.]

Amy - [fine mr secretpants]

Brendan texts Allison with the ray gun in hand.

Brendan - [Hey its Brenda(n). Im looking at the ray gun. Know anybody you can trust who is good with electronics?]

Allison - [Hey, uh I might be able to handle it. Might have dug on that site for info. Got my hands on a manual. Bring it by the store asap]

B-[ok]

Brendan looks around his apartment for something to hid the ray gun. He finds his old college back pack. He wraps the ray gun in a sweatshirt and stuffs it in. For good measure he zipties the zipper shut and puts it with his work things.

After work he gets to the store just as Allison is leaving for the day. She takes it with Claire teasing from the doorway that she made friends with Amy. A couple weeks of normalcy go by before Amy gets a call from Claire. Brendan hears "Okay. Thank you. We will head right over." from Amy. "What's wrong?" Brendan asks. "Gotta go check on Allison. Claire hasn't seen her in a week. No call ins for the last few days." Amy says nervously. Brendan hugs her "Okay Andy and I are going on a trip." he says. She nods and they both get changed.
