For a few months they do

As the seasons change and you get larger and larger, things seem to be doing okay. You feel great and the doctor Arlo brings you to confirms that your baby is healthy. Arlo himself seems to be doing better, gaining some color and some weight under your care. It seems like the two of you will be together for quite sometime.

You give birth two days after the New Year to a healthy baby boy you name Thomas Scott Coleman. Arlo is very pleased when he sees his first son, even crying a bit when he holds him for the first time. You just watch quietly, letting him enjoy his time with his son. You'll have plenty of time to hold him, your lover doesn't.

Once you get home and the doctors clear you for more vigorous activities, Arlo sets to breeding you again. Then things start to go downhill.

A month after you give birth, Arlo's medications fail. The doctors confirm what you both knew; he's dying and only has months to live. The breeding comes to a stop as he becomes weaker and weaker. You do your best to care for him and Thomas, even though you're beginning to feel ill as well. Just as the first snow begins to melt, you confirm you're pregnant. Two days after, you lose Arlo to the sickness he was battling. Three days after that, the police come knocking on your door, looking for you.
