Follow them in

You step in behind Jon, making sure to keep close behind him. You're pretty sure there won't be anything dangerous waiting for you right at the cave entrance, but as you have no way of directly defending yourself you don't want to take your chances. You pull your blanket tighter around your back as the chilly air in the cave hits you. You know it doesn't provide any actual protection, but the feeling of having something at least covering you from behind puts you at ease.

As the four of you make your way deeper into this cave, you are glad that you at least still have your boots. Though you can't really see the floor well, the wet noises your steps make definitely signify something you wouldn't want to step in barefoot. You take a quick peek behind you and realize that the bright morning light does not penetrate very far down here, and you already can only see what is dimly illuminated by Nell's torch.

The three men's larger bodies block your view of what's ahead, so you suffice yourself with meekly shuffling behind them. Not knowing what the rest of your party is seeing makes your mind go crazy over every little sound and dancing shadow you pick up. What kind of dangers await all of you at the end of this cave?

Several more minutes later, the movement in front of you stops. You take a step aside to see what's going on. You are surprised to see you've met a dead end!

"Did we take a wrong turn?" you ask to nobody in particular.

"There weren't any wrong turns to make," Adi replies. "Was just a straight shot to here, no other pathways."

"There must be something here," Nell muses. "It might be hidden!" he exclaims as he passes his hand across the smooth stone wall in front of him.
