Follow Janet's experience

As nearly every day and certainly every weekend, Janet Jensen is outrageously drunk when she is driving her shiny BMW 6 series along the old river road. Strictly speaking, she isn't even driving in a proper sense, but steering the car in a wild, irregular, completely erratic zigzag course. Her hands with the rosy pink fingernails are touching the steering wheel only lightly, exercising no real control. The totally sloshed socialite is giggling and babbling incoherently, sporting a lopsided drunken grin. Her money and her sex appeal, Janet knows, will always help her to get what she wants: men, booze, fast cars, all kinds of luxury goods and someone who blows into her court-mandated breathalzyer if necessary. Actually, regardless of what the judge fantasized about, it wasn't her fault that this dumb kid cycled right into her way when she drove past with a little buzz. The last thing she heard, he was no longer using a wheelchair anyway. Suddenly, a light blue flash tears through the country darkness and makes Janet jerk the wheel around. The BMW crashes into a couple of young trees and slides into the roadside ditch, throwing the driver against the side window. Dazed by the crash and her intoxication, Janet climbs from her car with a groan. Blood is gushing from a cut on her forehead. Seeing the blue light coming nearer, she winces and shouts: "Thish dime id wash nod my fault, oshiffer!" But wait ... isn't this light way too high above the road surface to come from a police cruiser? It almost appears as if it was floating in the air somehow! At this very moment, the light intensifies so greatly that Janet is completely blinded. Helplessly, she cowers down and hears a strange whizzing sound approaching ...

"Three days after the mysterious accident on the old River Road, there is still no trace of missing society lady Janet Jensen. Her mangled car was found partially submerged in the river, and the Sheriff's office announced that her body may have been carried away by the current.
