First comes Love, Then comes Marriage...

A few months had passed since the Courier had been dug out of the Goodsprings Cemetery. Most people don't believe in Destiny, but bringing a stranger back from the dead only to find out they were your soulmate is a little too out there to be coincidence. After making love for the better part of the first week of their life together, the Doc and the Courier began to realize a connection between them that they had never experienced with anyone else. When they were together, they felt complete. The Courier knew that this was a once in a lifetime occurrence, two lifetimes in his case, and he decided to forget about the man in the checkered suit who shot him up on the old hill. He had someone more important in his life.

It didn't take long for the Courier to fit in with the rest of Goodsprings, his charismatic personality melted even the stoniest of hearts. Before long the Courier had landed a job working the Bar for Trudy in the Saloon. The few Merchants who came through town loved to stop and talk with the new, handsome bartender on their way to New Vegas. Over time more and more caravans added Goodsprings as a stop on their route and life started to flow back into the small town.

The Courier and Doc Mitchell were married in the Saloon on the anniversary of the Courier's return to life. Together they had two children and set about rebuilding the old school as the community slowly grew. The Pair had never been happier.

Rumors began to circulate of an epic battle occurring at the Hoover dam. Rival factions clashing over control of the dam, New Vegas, and a collection of magic stones that granted their users amazing powers. The few who held them were treated as gods among men, and revered by their people. Perhaps the Courier might have been one of those powerful demi-gods, commanding the world around him and bending the whole wasteland to his will, but instead he found the most powerful **** of all: Love.
