Chapter 13 by SilverSpectre006 SilverSpectre006

One awkward nap later...

Finding the Note

Viola shivered as she opened her eyes, sneezing as she woke up. Cuddled up into a circle, she gripped the sheets around her tightly before looking up at her phone and tapping the screen. Quarter past seven. Ugh.

Sitting up in bed caused the blanket to slip off her as she stretched her arms. A slight bit of wind passed through the open window, reminding her of her exposed state as her back shivered from the icy howl.

"Fuck me, the window!" She shook and wrapped the blanket around her before leaning in. She must have left it open all night. It must have been a good night, what she did prior. Or perhaps she just really got into it, not like her to doze off after a climax.

"Huh?"

Something was flapping against her window sill, stuck by some tape and struggling to remain against the wind. Looking up ahead she was met with her neighbors closed window. Robin left this? Reaching in and pulling it inside before shutting the window, she sat back in bed and read the note.

...

"Who's Lauren?" She asked herself, puzzled at this note. "Why do I care about your bedtime, what am I a stalker to-"

Her heart skipped a beat.

Oh god, oh god, oh god! What time did she... was he... nonono that can't be it. He wasn't watching was he?

"THAT FUCKING PERVVV!" She shouted, crumpling the note in her hand. Leaping out of bed, she angrily got into the shower and dressed up. Buttering some toast had never been more annoying in her life. Robin was lucky not to be outside when she headed off to work, who knows what she would be capable of in her state.

"So wait, he was spying on you? Oh my god!" Stacy chortled. "My my, you got yourself a friendly neighborhood stalker."

"Shut up, it's not funny."

"Well it is to me! Gosh V, what now? Buying some curtains to keep some privacy in your life?"

"Well, that's one option." She sighed, continuing the stock clitter-clatter of her fingers dancing around the keyboard. It was rather embarrassing if he did see her, but as she explained it to Stacy she realized she wasn't upset at all. How could she, it was her idea to give him a show. Maybe she forgot to shut the window once the mood started up, but still she had no right to be mad at him.

It was kind of cute actually, he was decent enough to write to her almost as if it was incidental. Wait, actually that would make sense. Maybe he did believe it was incidental, maybe he saw it as an awkward situation and just wrote to her to avoid anything like that happening again. Just one small question though, who the fuck is Lauren?

Ohhhh, that woman he was with! She chuckled to herself and shook her head. Damn I am slow if it took me a while to figure it out.

"What are you laughing at, find it cute to have a stalker?"

"Huh? No, not at all! It was something else, nothing to do with him."

"Really, then why don't you look at me when you say that V? You're blushing."

"I am not! Look, I just needed to vent a bit but whatever the case I will handle it. Now just..." She sighed, brushing her hair aside for a bit. "Ooof, let's maybe change the topic a bit."

Stacy shrugged before walking off to her desk. "Fair enough. Did you hear that thing about Joey over at fifth? Apparently he's been seeing this one girl and by the description of her she sounds an awful lot like Brianna, you know Robert's wife. I told you something was up there-"

Stacy's rambling turned mute as Viola nodded in agreement with uh-huhs and I knows. Sure, work drama was a thing to make the time go by and work a bit more tolerable, but it wasn't on her mind today.

Go to bed at nine with lights out... when Lauren isn't here.

Perfect.

Later that night
